Someone explain Rigwald to me. I summoned him in a dark forest map(lv. 75) but the level of his area was 65 and so was the talisman he dropped. I know it's dependent on the ilvl of the talismans you use to make his portal appear, however I also thought that if the level of the map you're in is higher than the talismans then it would go by the map level.

How do i sustain fucking mana as a spell caster? On a 4L my stormcall is already 52 mana per cast, 75 with 5L. I only got 55 mana/s with clarity on.

I'm playing Storm call in talihc. lvl 72 atm. It's pretty good, but mana intensive.
44% crit chance w/o power charges. 62% with.
One non crit cast with spell echo is enough for a white dried lake pack.
But since spark was buffed so much, I'd say play spark, its pretty good.

I think the point is you don't have to worry about getting tree leech so you can just get more damage. If for some reason you don't need life/mana leech then the only reason I would use warlords over enfeeble/temp is cause literally everything cursed will be stunned by your hits, you will never get hit while using aoe.

Imo there should be a direct correlation between map difficulty and a guaranteed equal level map drop. If you can smash through 100 quant maps no problem you should probably be doing higher content.

It's not necessary to be solo. It's kinda like how in this game on hardcore default leagues when you die you go to softcore. Semantically speaking you don't die but for players who actually care about the game they're playing rather than autistic semantics, how a game plays is far more important. And thus such features are objectively superior. It for this reason that I believe self found does not need to imply solo, as long as the players who trade don't have their drops able to be picked up by self found players and self found players loot is bound.
On that same note, a solo self found league and a league where self found can play with traders would be cool.
I used to be worried about how adding more leagues would thin the playerbase out but really the playerbase just gets bored and quits right away. More leagues might actually give players a reason to stay and the popular one would wind up having a bigger, more active playerbase for longer periods of time.

Yes. Most stats on a weapon directly affect the damage stats of that weapon specifically, and this damage after calculation is what determines the numbers used in the calculation for the skill's damage.
A dagger or bow that says +50% crit chance changes that weapon's own base crit,. After that is determined, the crit chance of skills is based on that.
Just like how "Added physical" damage adds damage to it's base damage, same as "+%" physical.

lets say you are doing 4000-6000 phys base per hit, with 3 casts per second and its not a crit build. you are using bladefall>echo>faster casting>controlled dest>concentrated effect
now on a normal build you have an added fire damage gem, hatred and an herald
thats 36% cold dmg and 44%+15% fire. or 1440 - 2160 cold dmg and 2360 - 3540 fire
this nets you on average: 29250 tooltip damage (real damage may vary dependong on resistances) and 75% mana reserved for offense. cursing with anything else but enfeeble or another defensive curse is not very efficient but you still get a nice boost to around 33k damage since the curse adds the multiplier on the monster directly (your elements dont dip on it)
with poison you have no offensive auras and for simplicity's sake, lets assume you only have that 3 node poison cluster that gives you 125% increased poison damage and Fangs of Viper for 20% increased chaos damage. and a poison gem with 120% increased poison damage
this nets you on average: 15000 tooltip damage, with 82.8% added damage, or 12420 over 2 seconds. and no mana used on auras. using vuln curse (either on blasphemy or in some other way) would increase base damage to 19350k, and the poisno dot to 21304 over 2 seconds because its double dipping in the curse because they depend on initial hit and also are considered generic DoT. note that vuln applies to extra multipliers to monsters, not to you.
so, both builds do fine damage-wise. one depends on offensive auras, the other has some more wiggle room for defensive auras and can be augmented nicely with a curse

This is the problem im having in the game atm. Im running a 2h non crit build. And im at lvl 82, and i just hit the point where i cant scale my damage at all. The dmg i would get from perfecting my gear is miniscule, and the tree has no efficient nodes closeby. Also non crit nodes are all additive damage, which is nice, but when crit gets its dps trough multiplication it just shits on everything else.

Trading is the most efficient way to get rich in this game, its also the way where you actually play the game the least. And no, your comparison to medicine is completely flawed. Everything that dies to IB leaves no corpse, everything that dies to the explosion isn't from a 'melee kill" and happens after a small delay so it won't be detonated from the original kill.
There is NO synergy with DD and IB.
