Someone explain Rigwald to me. I summoned him in a dark forest map(lv. 75) but the level of his area was 65 and so was the talisman he dropped. 44% crit chance w/o power charges. 62% with.
One non crit cast with spell echo is enough for a white dried lake pack.

I respecced an old ripped character to have 30k armor w/o granite, arctic armor, MoM/EB and a lightning coil. It was still insta-gibbed in them.

if it doesn't decrease your clear speed then how is it a downside? if you're actually more likely to die then then the downside would manifest itself in your overall efficiency, which would make it a retarded item to use. if you're slower with item a vs item b then you'd never use it unless you had to, thus making uniques worthless to everyone but shitters.
downside is a buzzword everything in the game can be described as having a downside thus making uniques not anymore unique than a rare or a passive tree build or anything else in the game.
