There is no endgame pve. Pve only serves as a thing to power your character up for pvp. There are some cool dungeons and world bosses that do have the best gear drops, but upgrading the boss gear costs like 100x more then just upgrading some blue item and it's only a very minor stat increase.

It can take 2-3 days to get to lvl50 (if you're good) unfortunately. There's a lot of content in the game though, combat level is just the tip of the iceberg.

You fail to mention that 50 is not the level cap. There is no level cap. Thing is, at level 60, it takes like a day to get 0.15% of a level and you lose 2% when you get ganked.

Nah, its to make up for the potential losses from premium services and gear on the cash shop. In KR you can buy exp boosts, items and loads of other shit that improve crafting probabilities. Basically: you pay, your experience is better.
They have to scrap all of that for the western market because people wouldnt play it if they didnt. So the B2P model is supposed to compensate for the cash they would have made in the long run.

The KRs dont want to do anything but grind. I think thats the point. They hated OW PVP and pushed for the Karma system to be more punishing. Probably because PKers disrupted their farming/RP sessions. No idea what KR to in BDO.

Well, the karma system is supposed to be adjusted for the west. Question just it by how much. In its current form its trash and discourages OW PVP heavily. So they have to either rework the entire system, b) give us the L2 system or c) drastically reduce karma penalties.
If they dont do that then OW PVP is possible, but the opportunity cost is too high for anyone to ever care about it. So all youre left with are Siege and GvG. Those arent bad, it just feels too limiting in my opinion. No clue what they will do, since I am pretty sure that many PVEers filled half a dozens polls to increase the amount of people who think that the current system is fine.
I dont think that they will adjust anything and that we will be left in the rain until Valencia 2 has been released. No idea when thats going to happen though.

As for F1 mashing gameplay, I'll let you in on a little secret: all MMOs are terrible games with terrible gameplay. The 'questing' is repetitive and boring and grindy, raids are buggy and poorly tuned and completely boring on the 20th run, your character story isn't as good as a solo RPG or RTS where you are actually playing the main hero, the rich and deep lore is written by Q-grade writers and is all Mary-Sue characters and retcons, PVP is unbalanced and zergy and a complete joke compared to a dedicated PvP game. You don't play a MMO for its amazing gameplay or 'content', those are just the means not the ends. You play it for the meta-content and the meta-context. The pixel dragon is 'epic' when you are doing it with 30 other comrades, you grind the ten rats because it matters in the context of the world/progression, you shoot the tower at 4AM unopposed because it has impact in a persistent world, and you hate the guy who owns it and want to ruin his internet pixels. That's why people do it, plus basic human nature: groupish thinking, us vs them, being in an e-war since IRL war sucks, and any other subconscious instinctual schemes. Of course you don't understand human nature, and you are trying to discover it by doing equations and reinvent the wheel in your basement, when you could just read "The Righteous Mind" by J. Haidt like I told you... It'll release you from your eternal torment of trying to decode "fun" and "why they do/don't do that".

Just tested it out, didn't use it to launch.
Load WTFast, set up your 64-bit client from game install directory (no launcher), set it to find best Korean server, "launch game" or whatever.
Now load up the game normally from Internet Explorer or whatever, Daum Launcher, login normally... and it should automatically connect through WTFast the moment you login to the game.

It's pretty useless outside of international connections, which I imagine the bulk of its reviews are not about.
We mostly used it as a stable connection to the Japanese servers during the summer, as free VPN services like SoftEther were very unreliable, of poor quality, and required your entire connection.
I probably wouldn't recommend it for NA users, but I think it'd be pretty useful for EU players trying to connect to eastern Asia with 250-350 ping.

As for keybind mashing gameplay, I'll let you in on a little secret: all MMOs are terrible games with terrible gameplay. Blade and Soul is a themepark game with a heavy focus on 1v1 pvp and purely skill based combat
Black Desert is a sandbox game with a heavy focus on mass guild vs guild pvp and combat that is heavily influenced by gear.
If you want balanced 1v1 pvp, generic instanced dungeons, and don't really give a shit about anything but combat, then play Blade and Soul.
If you want to participate in massive guild vs guild fights where fights are more dependent on raid strategy and group composition than personal skill, care about your MMOs having more to do than just combat, and don't mind your game being a bit unbalanced and containing LOT of grinding, then play Black Desert.
This is the real truth about both games. Neither is bad, they just offer different things for different types of players.

It's basically Age of Wushu but without the bullshit power levels. No more Infallible Martial Arts Masers running around unable to be hit because you're more than two rankings below them and thus get a massive dodge bonus while fighting you.
Comparatively, there's a few differences, like no jail, a superficial karma system that drops stuff out of your inventory when you die, no team practice and goblins do your offline job for you.
On the other hand the crafting system isn't fucking bejeweled and the castle sieges actually feel like sieges rather than a PvE raid. PvP is a tossup, it's about the same level of being skill based as Wushu was but gear makes a bigger difference in BD.

Enhancement and gear pretty much produces the same kind of stupid gap. Say I average +18 on my gear and you average something completely normal like averaging +15/16 and you're running around with a Yuria or some shit.
It would take you around 30 seconds of completely uninterrupted dps to kill me (and that's without even taking potential health). While I could easily kill you in 2-3 hits from my +18 Liverto.

The consequences for breaking the law are pretty shitty, it's basically just headhunting. If you kill enough players you turn red like you did in Wushu and guards/players will freely attack you, but they kill you instead of throwing you in jail.
Dropping stuff out of the inventory (not equipped) is also kind of shitty, but the hardcores around here and the forums will shitpost you for saying that. Personally I'll just empty my inventory when I decide to PK.
No cultivation or team practice but partying to level up is good stuff. The entire game is a throwback to the old age of MMOs where grinding for six hours on mobs was the tried and true method of leveling up.
Castle sieges are fucking great - the only problem is that I don't think they'll happen often enough if the devs listen to the whiny babies on the forums who want less PvP.

you can log off the game and your character does work for you to get you money, but during your off time online players can kidnap your character and sell them to slavery.
you also can get arrested and put into an actual jail for a certain amount of online time depending on how bad you were.
you also have your kung fu dojos that teach you your moves, while some don't condone if you're a slaver or do other bad shit.
guilds actually mattered in that game and some guilds would ally with themselves while others would eat each other alive on sight.
it was a fun game but died off because of freemium bullshit considering the way you grind/level up in this game requires you to be online constantly.
