I played wizard and warrior to level 21 during cbt1 and I really enjoyed both of them and berserker to 15 it felt really weak after wizard but judging by the videos I've seen it gets really neat later on, also a goddamn fist cannon.

But the few changes make a gigantic difference. EU for example is supposed to have OW scroll bosses which they removed from KR in CBT. EU is also supposed to have a way more lenient Karma system that doesnt basically remove OW ganks from the game.
The leveling curve is supposed to be different (longer) and the cash shop will see major adjustments. No premium services that give EXP boosts, no weight limit increase, no gear, you cant sell cash shop items on the marketplace, the costumes will probably not start at 20bucks and go up to 80bucks, oh and due to the game being B2P it will very likely have player to player trade.
Now if these things dont change the game drastically then I dont know.

I see one ultra niche game and the biggest blunder in MMO history that failed even harder than SWTOR. This is generally against the rules, but the thing is that if you "save time" that means that someone else who didn't save time will be under leveled/geared compared to you provided they play roughly the same amount of time.
The problem doesn't stem from you saving time from just xp, being higher level and gearing faster because you got a boost is there too. Personally I think the system is fine HOWEVER it shouldn't be put out on release of a game, maybe 1-2 months after everyone has had time to level.

picture a graph where on the x axis you have level or progression or whatever and on the y axis you have effectiveness or winning or whatever
someone who pays 2sg travels along that curve or line or whatever faster

Not him but the class already is the biggest let down in the entire game. A spear is an interesting weapon. A staff however is a really bland and generic one. Instead of making Tamer more appealing she received the most boring Awakening Weapon of all classes. So from a design standpoint shes pretty dead.

Only partially true. A class called tamer should actually be about a pet. BDOs Tamer is a melee that just so happens to have a pet. Could as well just buff her abilities to compensate for the removal of the pet and hardly anything, if anything, would change about her gameplay. Thats when you know that the class was designed badly. When removing something can easily be compensated for by adding something as generic as a steroid.
And to be completely honest, thats not even debatable.

Such as? His mimic ability does nothing but give you damage or CC boosts. Heilang does literally nothing but add damage or CC, neither of which can be properly controlled. Hes unresponsive, straight up ignores commands, the players cant place him or use his skills.
Heilang is nothing but added damage and CC. He could be EASILY compensated for by buffing her skills. Unless you want to actually provide arguments that prove that Heilang is essential to her gameplay. But I guess you will just continue to say 'bud diz no tru'. I mean, he basically IS a steroid at this point.
If you could freely micro him, use his abilities, then he would be essential to her gameplay because he would add something and losing him would drastically change the way Tamer is played. You could pull independent pack etc. But at it stands right now, you cant even use him for that because you need to press Attack, then Follow, then Attack if you want him to pull 2 mobs. Which results 3 seconds of cast time alone. On top of that hes piss fucking slow and if youre unlucky he wont even attack the second target because as soon as the first attacks you, he will just turn around to 'defend you' or attack what youre attacking. Heilang is as stupid as MMO pets get. Even in WoW you could manually trigger and use a pets skill. Even WoW pets were more responsive through macros than that piece of shit is.
But as it stands, Tamer without Heilang would do the same she does right now: Combo into Whips or spam Roar. She simply would be less dependent on that 2minute cooldown in case he dies.

Saying that Heilangs mimic ability on range is essential to her gameplay is like saying that Shift+Space is essential to Sorceresses gameplay.
Due to him being as unresponsive as he is and as impossible to properly place no one actually makes use of that. Simply isnt efficient. Not while farming, not for PvP. But you probably think that because you played her to level 30 in CBT1. Send the pet towards the opponent in PvP and run away, right? In endgame PVP you cant do that because Heilang is so fucking slow that you have to constantly exploit Q to actually bring him to where you are RIGHT NOW. You basically have to spam that skill so summon him or else he would be useless because of how slow he is.
In his current form Heilang is a burden, a burden that adds nothing unique or essential to the classes gameplay since his 'combos' are nothing but nice to look at. Safely dealing damage from a distance, top fucking kek. That piece of shit dies so fast if you simply send him towards someone its unreal.
But as I said, these issues can easily be fixed. Simply let the player control the pets abilities and movement and you have a unique gameplay element that cant just be replaced by a steroid.

The housing hack was a significant sore, splintered thumb to players.
The teleport hack allowing basically instant trade deliveries.
The market crashing completely on labor pots by gold sellers as a result of those two and people buying/selling gold.
The retarded patch changes they implemented effectively making a few crafting types completely useless, destroying natural progression (seriously, nobody enjoyed that the only relevant endgame was one semi-PvP area to grind for weapons that only ended up being a tagging shitfest).
And last but not least the way they handled premium and customer support.I've had personal experience with these, they deliberately falsely displayed premium dates to get you to buy premium when in actually you had plenty left. They didn't give refunds.
