An external team with heavily questionable experience (Flying Tiger Entertainment) is being tasked with porting the game to PS4, XboxOne and Wii U. They seem to be rushing for an imminent deadline and they are also working on a version of the game that will be obsolete in a few weeks/months.

Guys I need assistance.
I am a computer retard so please bear with my ignorance.
Basically I have this very basic laptop with a whopping 20GB of internal storage. Of those 20, about 15 are reserved for the OS (win 8.1) and a small portion of stuff that I need.
Now, I fell for the win10 meme and wanted to be part of the botnet.
The problem is win10 needs 15GB of free space, which I obviously don't have. I was expecting it to replace most of the win8 stuff and take advantage of the space left from the previous OS, but that is not the case apparently.
So, my question is: can I use the SD slot to expand my memory capacity with something suitable for win10?
Say I put a 32GB sdcard, can I install win10 in there instead of installing it in the computer itself? Is this possible, and if yes, will I get worse performance if the computer has to boot from an SD every time?
Explain this like you would with a 5yo, I don't even know if I used every term right.

It's highly unlikely that you will be able to boot directly from an SD card. However I can't actually think of a reason why you couldn't have a small boot partition on the hard disk which points to the Windows 10 installation on the SD. However, Windows 10 will probably complain bitterly about being installed to an SD so I ultimately wouldn't expect success.

I'll start by saying what I really think.
All these little "do this to make career better" changes do not make sense and do not improve the game.
Now is the time to show Turkey the benefits of hard choices.
Max ruined this game by making it two games and segregating the fanbase because he's the next Notch, so now we're at a fork in the road that career mode forces.
My personal feelings? Career should be dropped complete. I'm guessing some of you disagree and I almost know for a fact Squad will refuse to throw out "three years of work" but I see it as the only saving grace for KSP

Career mode is a false paradigm. Any work done within it will degrade the overall quality of the game and take valuable dev time. The only way to effectively manage a spaceprogram is with a spreadsheet decoding variables in the name, and there are still mis-saves, mod incompatibility, file corruption and shifting part values to contend with. Holy fuck is it impossible to actually conduct a space program with Kerbal Space Program.
There should be templates and variants, there should be a way to non destructively edit and use version history to restore old crafts.
