I really want to level a rogue to mid level to fuck around in stv and any other area.

There are plenty of hunters of hunters as it is, while demabd of them is super low (2-3 per raid group).
Competition for pets is huge
Competition for demons is insane
Even for a new hunter enchant competition is abysmal.
1v1 pvp is shit with most huge counter classes while hunters somewhat counter rogues, who can just escape if they so desire abywat.
But atleast: leveling is quite easy, tracking is amazing for wpvp while leveling, group(bg) pvp is alright, can farm maraudon for gold, if you manage to find a guild somehow you will get tiers rather fast.

But unless you want to heal in raids you'll have to spend time to find a guild that will take you, since druid tank isn't bad, but warrior is just straight up better. Cat dps isn't anything to brag about either. In pvp druids are amazing though. Great damage and utility.

You heal raids, get free epics, pvp constantly (find a warrior or a hunter to hang with). Get a certain rank, start getting pvp feral gear, roll offspec feral gear. Respec a mixture of feral/resto (not like your healing will matter much in raids) to heal raids and feral pvp, its amazing, healing gear arent necceseraly bsd for pvp either, this is vanilla, hybrids are hybrids.
Alternatively go balance/resto, but I dont know how good are they at pvp, nor how are you suppised to get spell damage.
I think resto/feral seems amazing just for that dank wpvp.

I don't think hitting threat ceiling is the issue so much as not having all the types of mitigation a warrior will have. But different raiding groups have different strengths and the balance of the holy trinity is almost unique in that environment.

Resto is great. A mix of resto and feral would be the best imo, also enough points in balance to get nature's grasp and natural shapeshifter of course. If you want to you can put points into natural weapons as well to get some extra damage output, but it's not a must.

Balance is shit at pvp and pve so don't even consider it. Maybe some guilds would be willing to take you for the spell crit aura, but your dps will be garbage since you're oom very fast.
As feral you will be able to tank, they're pretty tanky but not being able to get def cap is a bit shitty, but they make up for it with huge hp and armor and dodge. They do a decent amount of threat as well so it won't be a problem.
If you want to go full feral dps then you will probably have to spend some time finding a guild that wants you since cat dps isn't that impressive, but ferals do get the crit aura so that might help you get a spot.

They're great in pvp even solo and with people. You can heal, cc and deal good damage. Slows/roots and shit like that don't affect you, neither do polies. You can sleep hunter pets and other nice stuff. Root melees so they're fucked.
If you get engi to top it off you're pretty great in pvp.
Most people probably think Finalflash was a shitty memer but he was good at druid so go check out his videos, you might learn something.

I went through part of retail vanilla with a feral druid MT in MC. He did fine, kept aggro and we downed bosses.
I'm sure he had to work harder than the warriors did, but it still worked and that's all that mattered.

druid is a progressive fighter. they have survivability with heals/kiting. too many druids just stay in cat/bear trying to dps someone nearly to death before they put their HOTS on. you need to dps, if you run out of rage/energy you need to root and heal or kite. as a druid you should never go below 60% in pvp or youre a fool. thats not how a druid is supposed to fight, people try to play them like theyre warriors and thats why they suck.

Played with the best guild on feenix warsong, raided 4-5 times a week and I can assure you warlocks are top tier especially in naxx.
Of course the ignite mage is usually ahead of everyone if he had ignite from start to finish but naxx is lock territory while aq is more of a mage thing (read: dumb encounters where you don't give a fuck about aggro and just mash all day).

Feral tankin works fine. Just don't expect to be outperforming a warrior. A warrior'll damn near always take less damage than you, generate more threat etc,.
Things like Golemagg, Garr, Domo, Razergore are all pretty good for a feral, basically anything that needs more tanks than usual, or everything there dishes out almost 100% physical damage.

Yeah that's auctioneer, which (along with it's little enhtooltip thing) can put the prices it sees in scans in item tooltips, along with other nice things to know like the price a vendor will pay for it.
Auctioneer broke for me after last week's restart though, and the scan doesn't work and searching the AH grays out the search button permanently so that you need to relog (and not just reload the UI) to do one more search. That might be something with my install fucking up though, who knows. Your mileage may vary.

I've got an addon like that, but it doesn't tell you the particular recipe. It only says which profession(s) use the items. For expanded tooltips on items, use Stubby. Informant will allow you to attach more stuff to the tooltip, such as auctioneer prices and professions.

Hey /nosg/, what do you think about the macros in which you have expressions like "if curse/dot/siphon is on target, cast something, if not, apply curse/dot/siphon/whatever", are they useful in WoW at all, or not?

I've heard this is good money. stuff like running UD strat and reserving all the greens for yourself or live strat and reserving orbs. not many tanks want to do either of these because no pre-raid bis tank gear so most people are desperate.

It's actually pretty fun if it's not your first character. And if you grab alch/herb and keep that up to date to sate your potion and elixir needs, as well as cooking and first aid. It only gets bad at around STV+, but that's just because of the overcrowding

Listen here retard, DS/Ruin is the highest Warlock DPS spec with and without corruption. 3 Warlocks can put up Corruption on bosses without it getting kicked off with no issues.
