The snow capped obsidian deposits in the snow biome drop only obsidian or stone, so that's the best "bang for your buck", but if you just want multiple obsidian deposits in an area it's one of the caves, just don't remember which one.

In fact, I have a crazy theory that Numberseven may have had something to do with it. Think about it: he was in constant communique with him on TS3, so he very well could have recorded any incriminating voice chat during the war. And since he got booted out of the tribe, he probably sent it all to Wildcard in a blaze of sour grapes in addition to letting the Chinese level their base on 355. It's a stretch, but a plausible one.

Is taming an angler fish worth anything?
Taming a bunch of penguins and keeping them around to farm their eggs feels like yet another unnecessary chore to me

new player here, i got a couple questions about taming

1) how do i keep dinos knocked out? ive put narcoberries in its inventory, but it doesnt eat the berries

2) how often do most dinosaurs need to be fed? compared to the player, how hungry do dinos get?

3) how tough does it get to provide enough meat for your dinos?

Forcefeed them using "remote use item" after putting the narcos in its inventory
NOTE: with narcoberries and charcoal you can make narcotics in the mortar, they won't spoil like berries do

They eat 1 unit of food everytime their food goes below a certain value, it depends on the dino. When taming, they usually eat quite fast [from 10 seconds to maybe 3-4 minutes], the problem is how much food they need to eat to complete taming -which is proportional to their level

Prime meat is not exactly difficult to get once you know what creatures yield the most prime meat and what dinos gather it best. I suggest you tame an argentavis as soon as possible. Or were you talking about raw meat in general?

1) select the berry and click the remote use button
2) if they are idle, they need 1-2 pieces of food per 6 hours, and only take damage after not being fed for a month or more

3) build a feeding trough and you don't have to feed them individually

>stun dino (with slingshot and stones, wooden club, narcotic arrows, whatever)
>dino is now stunned and tameable, meaning you can access its inventory
>you can put there food and narcoberries/narcotics
>the food (assuming it's proper, that is if it's herbivore it won't eat meat) it will eat itself over time, the narco you have to put in the inventory, select and click on "remote use item"
If you don't have anything similar, good luck, I don't think anyone else here's playing on xbox yet

You can harvest it yourself from dead creatures with a hatchet, or better, with a pick or have your carnivorous tamed dinos do that for you
The bigger the kill, the more meat they yield (both normal raw and prime)
