Bladestorm has a huge slow animation, doesn't kill things instantly, takes control away from you for the duration, won't kill high level enemies reliably, will force more enemies to spawn in some cases (yes this is bad in some situations)
Besides, Loki has ST versatility, better Invisibility and a decent, while a bit situational, Decoy. Ash's other skills are all pretty shit to be quite honest family.

Bladestorm is alright if you improve the shit out of it and have some super fast melee weapons equipped. All of the other abilities are shit though, teleport is alright in those niche moments.

The Vaykor Marelok and the Kulstar are two entirely different guns for entirely different situations, moron. The Marelok has single-target stopping power and the Kulstar has crowd capability. You give up one for the other.

Lex Prime is my go-to sidearm for high level content. It hits pretty goddamn hard.

Just started playing the game. Why is everything I have so shit?
To make any better weapons I have to go to other planets, but everything on those other planets is a damage sponge that takes like 50 shots to kill so it takes fucking ages to do the level. Playing with other people is no use too since they just rush through in 20 seconds and don't bother with materials.
Is it worth getting some platinum for at least a weapon that kills things in less than 50 bullets? (I already have a secondary weapon being made and need 1 more item for a primary weapon, but they're not significant upgrades)

You need to upgrade your damage mods.
Elemental mods are your best option early game, don't waste slots for reload/zoom/magazine etc, you gun has not natural ranking damage, so you need to mod for that.
% base damage mods will be the best once you have enough cores to pay for it, for now use the right elements for the planet you are trying to clear.

Well Melee is marginally better now.
Only a few melee weapons really shine (Broken-War is free and comes with a slot + potato + its own stance if you don't have one equipped) and a lot of Frame skills now get power off your Melee + Melee Mods (Excalibur's and Valkyr's 4 for example) so there's incentive to actually care about your melee weapons.

Just downloaded Warframe yesterday afternoon and have been having a pretty fun time with it, but I have a seriously irritating problem that's become more prominent today;
Occasionally (at least multiple times during a mission), my character won't stop running forward. I'll hold back for a few seconds and he'll just stand in place and that tends to fix it, but it's hardcore fucking up my flow of combat and movement. Anybody know of this issue and/or how to fix it? I think with the PBR update she got, MagP is pretty alright now. Frost could use some more shiny bits though, as could Excal. Umbra Excal is a good example of a much more primed looking Excal.
Another problem Excal Prime has is he's a Prime from the days of Primes being cosmetic, but since he's a limited time deal they can't really buff him like they went back and retroactively buffed a few of the previously cosmetic primes to match the new generation of superior-stat primes.

Forma the aura slot first because having a matching polarity in the aura slot GIVES you energy instead of reducing the cost of a mod.
But don't do Steel Charge. Use the dash ( - ) polarity so you can slot either Corrosive Projection or Energy Siphon once you get them. Steel Charge isn't very usefl because melee is generally useless once you hit mid-level or higher enemies. Excal, admittedly, is a bit better with Steel Charge than most frames because Exalted Blade benefits from it but EB does so much damage already when properly modded that Steel Charge is useless.
tl;dr, go - polarity first. Forma other slots as you acquire good mods and start needing more capacity for your build(s)

How do survival enemies scale?
It can't just be leveling because 35+ minutes into T1 I have to hit lancers like 8-12 times with my atterax but on Draco everything dies in one crit even though they're around the same level. It doesnt, but the synoid has a base 20 status and 15 fire rate and atomos had 10 and 5. They're both excellent weapons but i still have yet to hear why the synoid is shit.

24 fire rate seems just fast enough to guarantee procs while not using excessive ammo.
With good aim this weapon is a force to be reckoned with.

Treat Crit delay as always getting crits, not sometimes getting redcrits. Would you rather always do 5.5x damage, or do 7x damage 87.5% of the time and 1x damage 12.5% of the time.
