The easiest way is to get 1 of every gemstone (opal aquamarine etc) and trade it to arwen the fairy for a star rock. You can get it in 30 minutes just by mining the veins at ardentmill. I don't know why people spend hours grinding bosses and shit, I guess this game is just full of retards.

Why does it seem like there isn't a single quality bot for maplestory? Like every single MMO has at least one group with a decent bot that updates consistently for sale. Yet for maplestory there is fucking nothing?
I came back for reboot and i got to 210 and now i just want to bot until I'm banned or bored. I may as well just quit because there doesn't even seem to be a decent bot out there.

Then why play Reboot? If you want to play for personal goals then it doesn't matter what server you play in. In the end, Reboot will soon be filled with script kiddies flashing their botted meso "earned" legendary CRA equips within the next month. It's not any different from people in the regular servers flashing their perfectly cubed and scrolled shit. It doesn't affect you if you don't want it to.
The economy? Nothing you as a free player sell in the FM in the regular servers with any consistency besides elite boss drops, and those prices are pretty much set in stone, regardless of if the botters left. No one wants to buy shit.

Like really, botting literally makes items cheaper for everyone, in every game. I don't know how you can argue this not making MMO economy better besides the moral factor of breaking the rules.
I don't even bot (in MS at least) but the benefits they give in the main servers is staggering. They simply give a bigger supply and unless the prices crash to a terribly low price (they rarely do), the demand will always be there so it helps the economy. Epic pots/Innos still fetch a good amount of money, even if they would go for a lot more without bots existing so it's not like they kill money making in the regular servers.
I can understand people bitching about bots in reboot at least since they're basically hogging all the maps.

Hardly. Being able to trade to make meso is a hell of a lot easier and faster than farming meso 24/7 at MP3. Get some elite boss drop? Sell it to fund yourself to where you can do Hmag which doesnt even require a high range and is made easier to do than in Reboot because you can actually obtain CRA clean for cheap. If you actually count how many hours of farming you do in Reboot to get what you want, it's just as lengthy as the road to getting decently funded in the normal servers. It's a shitton of time.

I get what you're trying to say, but my point is you eventually do earn the gear yourself. Yes, you first purchase Sup Gollux (not really necessary, but let's say it is) or CRA with farmed meso. But in the end your goal is still to be able to obtain those gears yourself.
I personally don't see a difference between farming so much to get the damage to get the gear to drop and then improving it vs. farming so much to buy the gear and improve it and get the damage to get the gear to drop yourself.
But you play what you like.

They never expire. They have a Vitality meter that slowly depletes as they attack while summoned, and when that hits 0 they'll return to your Monster Book. You'll have to wait a while for their vitality to recharge.

Running Paladin/Hero/DK nets both the Warrior and the Explorer set bonus in one go. Shade is min/max Crit which is great, mech is one of the best cards, and any random pirate card gives you the 6% ignore defense set bonus. Kanna and DA give %boss so that's required but prevents any real set bonus so the last card is filler.

The problem is that you're missing out on so many valuable cards just to satisfy the set requirements, and the set bonuses are kind of garbage anyways.
A Warrior would benefit more from Kaiser's 40 str than the Explorer set bonus of +7 stat. DS gives a small amount of stat resist, but even that's better than Hero's weapon def%. Marksman gives crit, Zero gives exp, Xenon gives additional stat, BT gives IED, WH will give a small damage bonus every so often after the instant death nerf. You've got better options.

Shade, Mech, DA, and Kanna are top tier cards. With 2 pirates, taking a 3rd is worth the set bonus for sure. Zero is one of the best but nowadays most people are on Reboot so it's not worth mentioning.
Hayato, DS, MM, BT, Xenon, and the relevant stat class probably all compete after that. DK is solid if you have a high HP class and want to go for the Warrior set bonus, but depending on how that functions that might only be useful for a DA.
Looking it over again, my recommendationat least for a non-magicianwould be:
Shade/Mech/Whatever Pirate, Hayato/DA/(Zero if not Reboot, DK if DA, Kaiser if STR class, DS if none of the above), Kanna/MM/(BT if available, Xenon if not).

Jett isn't an inherently bad class, but by virtue of being the unique class of a shit area (zen warrior) but reskinned (for GMS/JMS), he is literally the last class to get updated.
Right after updates, jett is usually actually pretty good, but then just falls by the wayside till CMS/TMS/SEA get a zen warrior update, then 2-3 months later GMS gets that same update but for jett.

Demon Avenger scales off HP and HP%, although visually capping their health at 500k, their damage can scale higher off +HP and +HP% bonuses.
There are many natural ways of getting HP% without a single potential line, making it really good for anyone who want to start out as a Warrior.

The quest line will take you about 2-3 hours. Each class has some sort of problem with it. Hayato doesn't have a flash jump. Kanna has a teleport but you can't even use it or you might get disconnected. Ayame can actually use her flash jump but all of her attack skills have a cooldown. At least the blows up bosses though.

Let's just say besides having to do that questline three times, you also have to do a long fetch quest to learn a specific skill exclusive to your job, and participate in a party quest (and you have to party it because a single player is made to be Ayame who is terrible at it) hoping the key to enter the expedition drops, which it doesn't do often, and then all variations of that skill are needed in the expedition so you have to be using a party of at least 5, and then the princess no secondaries only have a chance to drop from the box you get every third time you kill Princess No.
