I was just trying to say that it's not a complete lgbt paradise because they haven't invented homosexual procreation yet, but I agree that it doesn't actually make a lot of sense. I think it really depends. Realistically, Lel is the single best person for getting elves on her side, which is going to be in a large part Solas' target for his revolution. Even if he says that the Dalish are the new old and busted, he's going to need something more than the overall peaceful nature of spirits at his back to wage his war.
Vivienne is going to have the backing of the nobility and Orlais, for sure, but she's also a very competent player of the game and very orlesian. That isn't going to be respected by many Fereldens and other less developed countries.

Their alternative is siding with elven terrorists and considering that they already follow the Chantry it really doesn't matter that Fereldens don't like Orlesians. Anora and Alistair both have amicable relationships with Orlais

What less developed countries? The free marches, Nevarra, and Antiva are all fine with Orlais. Rivain is the only one that isn't completely Andrastian and it's not economically or militarily powerful enough to even matter, and with the Qunari presence they'd probably oppose Solas's too.

An exalted march pacified the elves last time. Even if it doesn't work Vivienne is still the only one of the three that would put up an actual opposition. Leliana and Cassandra were already in positions where they could've prevented major conflict and they failed.

Also, the exalted march last time didn't have an angry asshole god that has no desire to hear anything that isn't in his favor. While Solas does show remorse towards the loss of life for the elves, he never seemed to have that much empathy towards the ones that lived as slaves. It's a crush or be crushed situation that probably won't be resolved unless someone talks him down or manages to assassinate him.

Kirkwall was a catalyst but everything leading up to and after it. The seekers didn't try hard enough to reign in the templars, Cassandra admits that. Leliana was sent to Kirkwall before the the actual fighting to determine the necessity of intervention by the Divine and decided against it.
Like you said Solas is an asshole with no desire to hear anything that isn't in his favor so I don't see how talking him down will be an option for the Divine. Maybe for the special snowflakes that fucked him but not for Cassandra, Leliana, or Vivienne. Leliana wasn't a good spy or spymaster and is apparently very easily swayed with her moral compass so I wouldn't trust her ability to put Solas down. Cassandra is too simple-minded and apolitical to accomplish any sort of victory for just about anything.
