Inventory is saved on disk to your cache, it's a standard gzip file. Unzip, open in any text editor, find the name and you'll see the keys associated with it. The format is a little ugly, but it's text and should be easy to understand.

Once you get that, you can dig a little more to get information about the asset itself.
Most wearables (skin etc. are cached in a flat indexed file, index.db2.*.* and data.db2.*.* - look on SL wiki for VFS for hwo the format works, this one needs a little program love to expand, but again the assets will be text and you can snarf things like texture UUIDs out of them.
