It actually took 10 months since they localized the WPK edition, RTK13 already has a SubID for the English base game.
Does anyone here play SWC3? I really want to know how to trigger the mission to fight Shigen in battle of Mikatagahara, but it never seems to activate. I've even managed to get Tadakatsu's unique weapon, but that freaking mission doesn't trigger.

So I'm trying to enjoy some jolly co-op with someone, but my available platform option is 360. Also, I'm pretty out of the loop when it comes to the more recent titles. I'm thinking of picking up DW8 and WO3 for this purpose.

Even DW8 vanilla is still fantastic and has a shitton of content on its own. You'll be missing out on 2nd EX attacks and some QoL changes, but if the 360 version got all the patches for vanilla DW8, then it has QoL changes already.
Vanilla WO3 isn't really worth getting for anything but the story, and you can get that story in Ultimate too.
I can very much say I know your feel, but I traded my 360 in for a PS3 the day after reading that DW7XL was PS3 exclusive.

i want to play DW with my girlfriend. All I own are PS3 and a single PC. What games are open for us to CoOp in the Musou series. I just got Samurai Warriors 4-2 but I heard its fucking awful unless youve played 4. We havent.
I see 8XL and 8 Empires are on PC, but it says the ports are garbage, jap only, and no DW8? Help me out bros.

The ports use the PS3 assets, with PS4 post-effects and 1080p60 support. They run well, but you're not getting mustard rice graphics out of them. The Jap only thing is bullshit and I have no idea where you heard it. 8XL is dubbed (although not fully) and Empires is subbed. 8XL includes the base game and expansion together.
All the Musou games are on PS3, so that's definitely your best bet. WO3U and Gundam Reborn are easy to recommend. The Steam version of One Piece PW3 is also perfectly fine, it's the same as the DW8 ports. All of them have split-screen on PC.

They're fucking everywhere in later musou mode battles, they deal a shitload of damage, interrupt your moves and on top of that, they're fucking invisible thanks to the shitty draw distance, and you can never be sure how many of them are left. Even one crossbow is a pain in the ass, let alone 10 of them.

Was he given a little bit of a bad representation in SW4? I could never take him seriously since he looked and acted like a goof most of the time.
It feels like they took that monkey nickname Nobunaga gave him and took it too far. Would of been nice to see him drop it after he died and started running stuff.
And on a related topic. Based on what we know from SW4 Empires thats out in Japan is it gonna be a good version? DW8:E was my first empires game and while i had fun with it my friend who has been playing the games since 3 said it had alot of stuff stripped. So im a little worried its gonna be a poor version.

I like english dubs in DW games, 2-4 were really bad in a hilarious way, and 5-8 are bad, but in adorable kind of way.
People in Samurai Warriors sounded like they were bored out of their minds though.
