It's the same paycap for all of them and the paycap doesn't matter anyway. No job in this game should take 10 minutes. If you manage to not suck at it, you get paid less, regardless of level, difficultly, job giver, etc. There's no excuse for that.

Is it even possible to lose a yacht defense mission as the defenders? You spawn right on the yacht and don't have to go very far and you're given a lot of time to interrupt any attackers trying to take the upper deck.

Missions pay more the quicker you do them, if you take twice as long as is necessary then you get less, if you do it at a reaonable or quick time you get more.
Also heist payouts should be adjustable by 1%, maybe add an optional feature where if someone dies in a heist they lose 3% and everyone else gets 1%, but then people might run over randoms

Do most people just buy every Pegasus vehicle and all those apartments? Guess that's why. There's a lot of Pegasus vehicles I don't really care to own, and I've only bothered to buy one 10-car apartment so I could host heists with friends. My other properties are just spread around the map to get a change of scenery once in a while.
I did buy a yacht though, I like water travel. My favourite property is one on the docks by the canals where you can boat to each kind of store to stock up.

As if the loading screens alone weren't bad enough, the fact that you get payed LESS for doing a mission quickly and efficiently gives absolutely zero incentive to play them over and over. I don't know about you, but I never started playing GTAO to grind missions. I thought it would be like GTA, except you know, online. Not that I've ever really bothered grinding missions except right before the Valentine's Day DLC and even then I didn't need to, I was just helping a friend out so they could afford the Roosevelt before the time expired.
