valve changed the rating requirements to be higher for every rank and so you actually deranked a while ago when they changed it, but it doesnt update your graphical rank until you have lost
so your "true rank" dropped instantly a while ago, then your wins got you close to getting the new rating for your old rank, but the second loss dipped you just below it and when it finally updated your graphic you were below
its not the wins/losses to rank up that changed, its the rating for the rank

That being said, telling someone to go kill themselves is something that isn't acceptable in any way, shape or form. There's been a large increase in bullying online, and it's been in the news plenty of times about people killing themselves because someone else told them to.
For most people, this doesn't hit close to home, but for some it's a scary reality. Some people just need one more thing to push them over the edge before they can seek help, and you don't want to be that person on the internet.
I've been called names, I've been told that I wasn't going to live if I go to a certain event and even told to kill myself multiple times. Luckily I don't care what people think about me on the internet, but I know people who take it serious and it's never something to joke about. People act like hardasses on the internet because they don't have to be themselves.
It's simple: You never know what someone else is going through and you never want to be the one to encourage someone to take their own life. It's even worse that it's from someone who is supposed to be an example leader in the community.
I don't know if I could function properly in life if I knew that a user from ESEA decided to take their own life because they were told to kill themselves on ESEA and I didn't do anything about it. Hopefully you all think about what you type on the internet before you hit submit or save.
