-33% sig radius (HG halos are -21%)
+28.8% MWD bonus (a total of 5, FIVE, m/s less than HG snakes)
+33% to scram/disruptor range
+24.75% armor resists (Officer resists give 24.45% bonus)
-24.75% activation of active/remote armor resists
If you were to have all these on a ship it'd cost upwards of 10 bil ISK, 1 boost proteus is 1.2 bil, can't be probed without max skill covops/tengu, can warp out/jump whenever it does get probed and is back in action in 30 seconds

I'm not saying everyone falls for this scheme, but enough people do for me to make a living out of it (or at least I had made my living out of it)
Shooting MTUs gives you a suspect timer and quite often that makes the carebear react. Even if I can't break the missioning ship (like if a RNI that's doing a guristas/serpentis mission and fits against thermal/kinetic) I'd keep him on field and ransom him for 0.9x value of hull + whatever I feel is right, so for example if I see his DPS is slightly higher or he tanks better than usual I'd ask for more cause I know he's blinged. That way I don't get the dank KM but, hey, if it was kills I wanted I'd go blob somewhere in bluesec, this was strictly to make money. Actually I preferred ransom payments cause that way I don't have to play the lottery that is loot fairy.

Like I said, I didn't do this for kills, it was simply a way of ratting for me. On a good day I'd get a bil/day or so in 3-4 hours of play. Not as good as some things but it wasn't as boring as grinding ISK in incursions/cap escalations/DED or so. On a bad day tho I'd make very little to nothing, so... take what you will from this. Definitely something I'd recommend doing tho, cause it's very interesting, makes you feel like a real pirate.

It gets a lot better if you aren't solo. A lot more passable as small gang AF DPS. There are ships that will do better for the price but, it's about the fun.
Other than that, out piloting the other guy or sitting in FW plexes at 0, then not fitting a prop mod so you can scram + web.
It's goofy as shit and a one trick setup, but it can maul things that warp into you pretty well.

tough luck bro, I'd say keep trying. Try Lustrevik and surrounding systems, it's a popular L4 hub for Brutor and I've had quite some success there. Look at ships as well if you can. For example I had one cloaky scanner near station itself so I'd see when someone undocks. You take note of ship name, and if there's someone with an arty mach named [capsuleer name]'s Machariel you bet I'd see where he warps and try to probe him down. Good hunting.

If it can go 2kms your 5kms will only be going 3kms relatively. It's a big difference. I used to stealthhuff gasses but I never went deep enough into WH space to get to the quality gases.

It has no tracking mods which sucks dick. You don't need 100% stability and all those rigs and cap rechargers, you won't be repping all the time. Just make sure you're stable with guns with t2 ammo with the rep off, and you're good.

When facing blood raiders, the stability really does matter though as they do neut, and the apoc gets a 7.5% tracking speed bonus per BS level
How about each faction's assault frig has one that excels in good tanking and one excels in good damage. Rather than all being completely useless except maybe the Caldari ones.
