Fuck this rotation, literally everyone is playing Thunder. Normally I'd be able to win two to three 1v1s in a row before losing too much health, but now that every enemy has 160hp, I take too much damage in every 1v1 because the shitters are actually given time to being shot at. I found out that Phoenix is a pretty fun merc after all. After killing two enemies, you can jump on the walls and fully heal in a second and continue killing enemies and it's not even boring like Fragger or other area damage mercs.
KE81 especially. Fast effective self-heals and guaranteed head dings with fast fire-rate Hochfir.
I used to play Phantom when I wanted to get upclose and personal with an SMG and an affinity for walljumping, because his shield helped me extend my life dramatically. Phoenix is going to replace him now.

True. Though the other day I was really happy. I was on my smurf account so our whole team was sub level 6 on Execution. The other team had four 20+ players and some teen levels. One of the 20+ switched to join our team and started patiently giving us advice and directions. It was really sweet. We even managed to win a few rounds. The other team was even talking shit to our team at the end. I made sure to give our level 20+ some praise for the effort.
One thing I never understood was the high level pubstompers going their tryhard classes right off the bat. I always thought they'd want more of a challenge and go secondary only or some of the mercs they aren't as good at. Things like Dreiss Red Eye/Kira/Arty, shotgun Rhino, melee Sparks, etc. I notice they play something like Bushwhacker then die once or twice, then switch to Fragger/Skyhammer/Nader and roll through the low levels. I get that decimating a team is fun, but it's already a tough game to get into, you don't have to make the game so painfully one sided for newer players.

and she'll revive people . Problem is, her reaction time is shit and her aiming sucks, so she routinely gets killed by lower level people.
I can't even say anything cause she'll get all hurt about it. I'm pretty good at killing though, so its usually enough to get us a solid win.

Sawbonez is really good for a more coordinated team, but your team in pubs is generally awful, not coordinated, and will ignore/dodge/run away from your packs. If you try to throw extra, you may end up without one for yourself when you need it.
Phoenix is a better pub medic because you can't miss your heal as long as you walk near your teammates and you don't have to worry about saving a pack for yourself as you heal yourself in the process. He's not quite as good as Sawbonez in terms of being a medic, but he's easier to use, easier to heal bad teammates and you're more likely to stay alive in the process.

If my profile play time, vs my steam played time is to believed about 75% of my hours are actually in match. Asked as friend, and he's closer to 60%.
So if you're playing ranked for those trinkets, or say browse the general with the game open a lot, plan accordingly.
proxyautist here, ive been using sawbones for my support missions so i can pretend to shove my massive medpacks down peoples' throats and help them up with my old man strength, but now that i tried phoenix i really like him because im used to the hokfir and the self ress helps a lot when you suicide dive into mines and grenades.
so should i stick to only using the hokfir or is kekten strictly better and worth getting used to?

His best primary and secondary, knife is great, Quick Draw is great because of switching between his healing ability and switching to his secondary mid fight, and Extra Supplies is really good for his ability. Only part of his card that is okay is Cool. I'd say keep it.
