TERA was a special case because the NA and EU versions had a different publisher. Here it's all NCsoft so there's going to be differences between NA and EU, other than the fact that you don't have to deal with +100 ping by default, which, in this game, is pretty damn important. Pick EU. You need good ping for PvP if you don't want to work twice as hard to perform, and be flat out unable to perform at the very highest levels.

No use getting a founder's pack anymore because there's only one closed beta left, unless, of course, you're going to throw them money for the more expensive ones with actual launch benefits. The cheapest one just pretty much gives you beta access which is already gone after this weekend.
High level PvP which this game focuses on is equalized so it's literally 0% pay2win. You get faster exp, gold etc. PvE benefits with money though, but that said, the leveling is fast as fuck (like 24-48h in time played) anyway.

So do you guys actually integrate the world and setting into the ERP? Do your characters have established personas and do you play them accordingly? Or is it just wordy descriptions of penetration and "My personality is that I love hot cum" type of stuff?
I can't imagine the latter makes for anything long lasting. You can only describe a gaping asshole to each other so many times before it gets boring, right? Themes, on the other hand. Those last forever.
