So I downloaded Cleric Armours of the Nine Divines after seeing some anon post it in the last thread.
It's got some nice looking armour, but I started a new game as a Vigilant of Stendarr and was intending on going full roleplay, only to realize that the mods creator has stopped all support for the mod and didn't create any of the other divines outside of this picture, namely Stendarr.
So is there any mods that give me Stendarr Armour or Armour in which you think a Knight of Stendarr would use.Please don't say those robes which the normal Vigilants use. Or that shitty Steel Plate Robe Mod. I mean high quality shit like pic related.

I did the gem quest for Talen-Jei but I also collected some debts from Keraava and now he sometimes treats me like I'm his best friend and sometimes like I'm the lowest piece of dirt to stain the floor of his inn. I don't like the sound of it. For the list of features it provides it does little job explaining in detail what it adds, and lacks a list of confirmed mods its not compatible with. I like to avoid mods that add lots of stuff to the landscape.
The comment section is riddled with people having issues, and from some of his replies it sounds like he wants to add a lot of script and quest related stuff. Also apparently his taverns use Malukah's covers, which is already a big turn off for me.
I don't like the sound of it. If you do try it though, please let /tesg/ know what you thought of it.

So guys, now that I have my custom API for connecting to and downloading from the Skyrim nexus working, what mods should I have it download to "bootstrap" someone's mod setup? What mods should EVERYONE have?
The idea of this is to download and install Mod Organizer, install and configure TES5Edit, and then batch-download and install crucial mods. Basically, an automated STEP.

I plan to expand it to have a UI that lets you select what mods you want, and it'll automatically install the necessary patches and skeletons, followed by cleaning. For example, if you select CBBE, it'll download and install CBBE and autoselect the various compatibility patches used for armors.
It also lets me learn how the Nexus API works, since I'm making my own site for uploading mods that were hidden on the Nexus due to ragequitting authors.

I recommend Morrowind Watercolored to anyone, if that's not their thing, then I recommend them to make their own mod compilation. It's easier to narrow down errors that way than having to deal with someone else's idea of a modded Morrowind... that's heavily outdated, anyways.
Combat in Morrowind is very fun once you get used to it. Truth be told, I installed a mod called Gratuituous Violence (I think) a few months ago, and hated it. Morrowind's charm is not knowing if the next hit is going to land. All that is lost when you install one of those "100% accuracy" mods.

read that and see if it interests you. i've not played with it myself so i can't endorse it or anything, but it sounds solid. if you're more interested in magic it probably won't help much, it's more of a melee combat overhaul. there are quite a few mods to make playing a wizard more enjoyable though.

It does, you might have to turn them on. They show active effects but I'm not too sure about diseases. I think it only shows things that expire, and diseases don't.
Incredibly happy about how my mod is turning out. While my intention was to play the game as vanilla as possible, that is, only retexture that which was absolutely necessary, some mods do a great job in making the game more beautiful while adhering to the original aesthetic.
