I'd rather talk to people, read the news and use the internet while I'm out. I see mobile games as a way to kill time only, nothing more. Yes, starting from scratch you can plat DeS in 1-2 days if you get someone to give you a Pure Bladestone or get lucky. It took me 5 days of grinding for one to drop for me.
I have not played mgs peace walker but it seems like a 80-100 hours platinum. There are some online trophies so those may give you an issue. Looks doable if you are good at S ranking missions although it's probably tedious platinum.

Well, forgot to mention DeS has the Pure White/Black system so you need to get a Pure White world tendency to get a ring and other goodies. It's fairly easy to fuck up since if I remember correctly connecting online reset your tendency. You can still trade for the Pure White stuff if you miss some.

You can platinum DeS in 10 hours playing offline to alter world tendency and skip mat grinding by duplicating items. PStrophies has a guide for it.
Peace Walker is bear minimum 60+ hours and that's if your good. Finding a boosting partner to idle online with can net you all the online trophies in one night by just leaving the ps3 on and praying neither of you get disconnected.
