if its double clicking/dead clicking randomly, there are few other things it could be.
to understand the problem, you first must understand the inner workings of a mouse.
in red i have highlighted the "click module" on a mouses pcb, in the green you'll see the actual tension spring.
notice the pronounced "hook" on it? what has happened, is through prolonged use the hook on your tension spring has weakened to the point where there is hardly any "spring" remaining in it. ironic.
however -_- it is simply a matter of gingerly bending it back into shape.
however -_- be warning, it is a frustrating and time consuming process with several small parts.
if you cant handle the pressure of such a repair, buying a new one may be the better solution -_-
but i almost guarantee the problem lies with your mouse. :2

IIRC it's kind of hard to kill before he yarrs unless you pop sunshine, or berserk on melee. Try to get a feel for the timing and debilitate before the yarr to reduce damage.

Are arrows/bolts expensive?
The basic stuns are 2 ticks, so it's not possible to use them to buff the damage of piercing shot/wrack. To do that you need to use a threshold stun (5 ticks) or something like dreadnips. Am I correct?
