I use egg druid, mech mage, zoolock and rarely patron and midrange druid. They're alright, some of them are really, really frustrating to play. I want to get into grinder mage, seems pretty fun.
Currently rank 8,I was one game away from 7 this morning but lost 4 games in a row with 4 different decks against their perfect counters!
Control deck is the real cancer. It slows down everyone's pace for climbing ladder. Basically a deck that benefits no one, not even the one playing the deck.

It is a retard play unless you are facing an aggro deck, i.e, they played a 1 drop like Leper Gnome. Doing this against any other matchup is pretty much an autoloss because they WILL kill your Darnassus and you'd lost your ramp and your coin. It's a 50/50 play, counting your oponent doesn't have a way to deal with it
I have like 20% winrate with Renolock, I always end up with no playable cards before turn 4 and never draw Reno before dying on turn 7 or 8.

My brother told me today that there is some renolock deck that uses starseeker that "all of the pros are playing at legend" apparently.

i play freeze mage and pretty much destroys every deck that's not control warrior(which rarely happens because cw is dead). But i stopped playing freeze mage and went full renolock. because it's a lot more fun. spamming burn spells on your opponents face, not playing on tempo and stalling the game is not fun for me anymore

I'd like to keep it as a bloodlust/totem hybrid. I feel like 2 bloodlusts in the deck is overkill, I dont want to see bloodlust in my hand in the earlygame and risk carrying 2 is way too much (or at least feels like it, you might correct me if i'm wrong or i'm seeing thing the wrong way).
For the changes, I'm saving some dust for doctor balanced and gold for blackmountain for the fireguard destroyers. I dont see any reason to drop the totemcarver, i mean, its most of the time a 6-6 for 4 mana, enough for taking care of the shredder and whatever comes next with potential for more.

I don't think the destroyers are really that necessary, but they're pretty strong. BRM has other fun stuff too, but I wouldn't grind the gold only for them.
I run 2 Bloodlusts because more than once I really, really wanted one but never drew it. But running 1 is also way better, so I agree with you here.
As for the carver, it might be hard to have totems by the time she's out, and she's basically a much more restrict warlord. If you want to see more serious lists, you can use some sites that list them, at least that's what I did.

No matter what balancing you do the people that like hearthstone are still going to play it. Know enemy deck archetypes and certain tells counts as skill, i.e. being able to tell if the enemy has a certain card by what they do or don't do, whether they're setting you up for a combo and what you can do about it.
If you watch any Legend-class streamers (or Infinite Arena players), they spend a good portion of their turns trying to guess what the worst case scenario is for the enemy's next turn and trying to minimize the damage it could do; sometimes they'll take a huge gamble because it can pay off.

I lack almost all other essential paly cards (equality, shielded minibot, muster, murloc knight, one peacekeeper, quartermaster and le secret man) so Tirion would probably not be too good of an idea.
If I'm gonna make a class one it'd either be a warlock card or maybe vol'jin for priest. I prefer warlock over the other classes, but not by much.

I play a lot of CW too so I know how to play around CW a bit better. My dragon priest runs double SW:D, one lightbomb and Voljin. Don't bother using SW:D on Baron Geddon, it's a waste and a lot of CW specifically like to throw him before Grom to bait out SW:D. Out of all his legendaries he drew Alex last so that was a big break for me.
Number one priority is Northshire's card draw. You have to win the match out of pure card advantage and playing around his removal. Keep her behind full hp taunts. Its better to trade up an injured minion and keep another at full hp to avoid execute. Its also good to limit the amount of minions you have on board too since he'll hesitate to brawl 3 minion boards for example. I only played my Ysera when he used both executes on my Vol'jin + Velened Twilight Guardian, and he didn't have armor to shield slam her (take into account Shieldmaiden too).

The worst IMO is joust, since you dont win on ties its pretty much unplayable since even most control decks run a couple of 1 to 2 mana cards.
2nd worse is inspire, like maybe 3 good inspire minions in the game (paletress, saraad, murloc knight) for almost all the other inspire cards it becomes a waste of effort. Not too bad in arena which makes it the 2nd worst.

it provides you with another way to threaten lethal and ysera gets you only 1 card 90% of the time anyway and even if she stays up for a few turns you could still get screwed by rng, not to mention that she's nearly unplayable against priest. with priest gaining so much popularity lately i think it's a solid replacement.
it also works amazingly against midrange paladin, just bait out their equality and then flood the board with 3/3 zombies.
the only real downside is that it's a bgh target but you already have a bunch of those so i don't think it matters that much, besides, it kills only 1 half of the card.

I must admit that Discover is a really good mechanic. It's both useful and fun, being able to tech cards mid-game and pick stuff that you normally never use, but in the right circumstances can be game winning.

There is no way to prepare to draw good cards in HS. It's not like you can rearrange cards in your deck in any particular order like M:TG. You just have to learn how to deckbuild, mulligan, and play against certain match-ups.

It used to be the top deck like a year and a half ago before Blizzard nerfed its win condition and draw engine.
Basically, you keep drawing until you burst the shit out of your opponents with your entire deck in a single turn. Before that point, it focuses on keeping enemy minions at bay.

Strange how blizzard nerfed a broken card but at the same time replaced it with an even better broken card, I don't get it. I've started playing a more midrangey aggro pally deck that doesn't even run divine favors anymore (run 8 4-drops with truesilver/BoK/shredder/uldaman tho) and honestly most games I never feel like I need the draw anymore, I just curve out and generally play something backbreaking on turn 4.

I mean, zoo is great except it loses hardcore to aggro decks that take advantage of it's self-harm components so it can't win off of hero powering a bunch. seems like if you just threw in a reno, handlock, and maybe an ERF or some shit and otherwise curved out really low it could work really well and actually beat hunters and paladins for a change.
