Most of them were really green. Makes green rocks in interiors which is really off-putting. Cement textures are neon green and occasionally used in interiors as well. I kept the green rock moss though and it goes pretty good with other rock textures.
Aside from the interior shenanigans in general I find it to be too much green. Foregoing them creates a nice mix, especially when its in favor of stuff like Vivid Landscapes' rocks which look pretty great. Haven't tried any other green-ish mods, just that one.

Tried out both fallout 1 & 2 because people say their classics but I find both of them boring.
For a start the plot in both is boring. It a simple fetch quest with very little reason to get invested. The text only dialogue makes the characters unrelateable (one of the reasons why I dislike morrowind).
The combat is slow and clunky and unappealing its just clicking repeatedly between the target and the end turn button until it dies while missing a lot. Outside of combat things just don't give much physical feedback and you can't move across the entire screen at once.
Even character creation is bad with you not getting enough points to create a rounded character that can do a lot of stuff. The perks apart from bloody mess has extremely negative effects attached that weaken your character so I avoid them like the plague.
If this is what old crpgs were like its no wonder they died out.

I learned last night that any texture pack with loose files boasting optimization is doing it so wrong. The new .bsa format was made for optimization so setting textures to "low" should be good enough for anyone. Just fyi in case you want to help poorfags out.

I imagine the ba2's optimization is why you tend to see texture quality adjusting high and low within the range of sight. With a game like this, with so many objects in a worldspace, its extremely needed. Still pretty annoying though; I've seen the player character's clothes go from 2K to 512 and back for no apparent reason, like it has no way to prioritize one set of textures over another.
And yeah, now that I think about it I can't recall it ever happening to textures that are loose.

The thing is you don't have all that many options for unarmed/melee anyway, so against tough enemies you use your biggest weapons.

Director mostly just resolves disputes between departments and determines/influences the direction of the institute. For the director to suddenly and inexplicably order 13 specific synths of his choosing to the surface, only to have them all escape later, would look suspicious as fuck.
