What's the best sword people have found so far? Been using general chao's sword for sooo fucking long and no melee weapons I've found have come close.

Graphics and gameplay by far, it actually feels enjoyable to use a gun in this game. I used a bolt-action rifle for 2/3rds of my play.
Raiders and almost all raider types are instantly hostile to you, minor factions have next to no quests, lack of replay value due to main quest structure and voice protagonist's lack of dialogue options/choices.

Like the gauss rifle, the laser sniper needs to charge to do max damage. You have to wait for the LEDs to turn back on between each shot or you'll do less damage.

Weapon modding is pretty cool but you can't craft ammo.

In NV, you could one shot a Deathclaw with a scoped .308 bolt action if your guns was 100, you were using the GRA ammo and it was standing still, allowing for a headshot, and it was almost impossible to sneak up on one

I disagree, fallout 4 feels like it has a lot more going on than either of those games. I didn't enjoy fallout 3 all that much, but greatly enjoyed skyrim (as well as new vegas and oblivion), and still feel like fallout 4 is really great by comparison.
