I made the thread mostly to gloat at the fact that the Terraria team made a more competent game in this amount of time. No one at this point expects them to churn out a good game, whether it's an additional two years or ten.

Come on man. There's people out there who actually enjoy the game but they're never going to look at the generals if they're made expressly just to shit on the game. It's the exact opposite reason why these generals are made. Keep these kind of threads to /v/ or circle jerking in the Terraria General.
