The Imperial refit of the Eagle changes the roof HP to a medium and gives it the boost speed of a Cobra. It still has a class2 PD though so it can't chain boost. Also it has heat issues.

I go to FEHU. It has two stations and I travel between them. So go to first station look at bulletin take all the 900-1mil missions then log out and go to open and refresh the bulletin. Go back to solo and go to the station next to it repeat process

There are a handful of settled systems a considerable distance away from the bubble of inhabited space. Like 300+ LY away from the outermost system in the bubble.
Go there and visit the bulletin board. You may find missions to smuggle small amounts of goods those 300+ LY back to the bubble and at higher trade ranks they can pay over 1M per ton they give you to smuggle.

Nah. The Clipper is still the best ship with large HPs for pursuit in PVP, and the Courier still has the fastest acceleration for FA-Off shenanigans.
Don't ram a FAS in your Clipper, though. You'll be sad.

They just give the good missions. The missions themselves will take you to any number of systems along the nearest edge of the local bubble. A lot of available missions will require landing at outposts, so don't fly anything that won't fit on a medium pad.
Also a fuel scoop is highly recommended for obvious reasons.

I just go to Fehu. I heard 17 Draconis and Ceo are also good. I like Fehu cause it gives Empire rank? Also the higher your trade rank the better money you get from these missions. I think you can't even get the 1mil missions until you are a broker but there still decent money like 700k you can get. Hopefully you can get to Elite rank before they fix this

Progression used to be Cobra (380K) -> Asp Explorer (6.7M)
It was a big gap that could take weeks of trading rare goods in your Cobra to cover. Bulletin board missions and bounties paid peanuts at the time so they were useless for making dosh.
Insurance loans also weren't a thing, so whatever you had in the bank was all you get towards buying your ship back.
So then fags get cocky and fly it without enough cr in the bank to cover the rebuy and can't buy it back. All they can do is take the free Sidewinder and rage on the forums.

Because when you grind so hard that you welcome any ship change you forget the tiny little things like having enough credits left to do some basic upgrades since the initial loadout will be shit.
Then of course you need some cash to buy some cargo/ammo. Rebuy then goes up so you're looking at saving minimum 150% the cost of the ship before you consider actually buying it.
Past a certain point FDev's insurance won't cover the larger ships and you'll cry.

A Diamondback Scout would work well if it could carry both pirate gear and cargo at the same time, but it can't.
Viper MK IV may be a contender when 1.5 goes live. Same firepower, similar internal layout and a bit slower but better armor, shields and weapons convergence.
A T-6 just barely outruns it on paper, yet not while laden in practice.

Tested the viper mk4 in beta and its firing reticles are tight. It laughs at chaff. At rest with nothing targeted the 2 meds still overlap the mouse widget and the 2 smalls almost touch the med reticles diagonally in a neat little ^
You fire fixed and all 4 HPs are going to hit the same subsystem nearly every time. It makes blowing out drives and sniping hatches stupid easy.

Cannons don't generate almost any heat.
Railguns and Plasma Accelerators you have to watch out (and only if you are firing more than one at a time, which you probably won't be doing in a while).
The only true heat generators will be the new nerfed shield cells that shoot your heat from 30% to 150%.

It should randomise a spawn table with certain ships and then spawns those. You can reset the instance by exiting to menu and going back to get a different spawn table.
The intensity of the RES is supposed to affect it, but even at high intensity and hazardous it can occasionally be really empty if the rng is against you. For reference I've been ressing with an Eagle, Vulture, Python, FDL and a Conda.
How can I make this Vulture stronger? Assassination missions with 2+ ships against me are practically impossible.

Find Nutron/White-Dwarf stars, Black Holes, and Earth-like/Water/Ammonia worlds. Skip scanning everything else.
White Dwarf stars are worth 10,000Cr
Neutron Stars are worth 19,000Cr
Black Holes are worth 20,000Cr
Earth Like worlds are worth up to 30,000Cr
Water worlds are worth up to 20,000Cr
Ammonia worlds are worth up to 10,000Cr
Metallic worlds are worth a lot if they're terraformable, so if you want to you can scan those.
If there's no name attached to the system yet, scan literally everything to get the 50% bonus reward.

The balancing isn't done from a logical gameplay point of view, or what would seem intuitive. It's been done based on what the forumdads and reddit shitter cry about the loudest mixed with the total incompetence in design by the actual developers.
Have you seen the missiles and rockets? You can carry like 5 and they do almost no damage. All because they were actually viable for nuking before but since you aren't allowed to be able to destroy a ship quickly they had to go. Now nobody is able to use them as they are worthless.
The Anaconda can be destroyed by a sidewinder if the sidey just shoots the shields long enough. Not like a huge ass ship with insane shields would be able to tank a couple of lasers with recharging shields.Sure, I understand the argument that success in combat is more determined by individual skill than ship size, but a well outfitted Conda literally costs 1000 times more.

That fucking shit almost made me quit, but for some reason I persevered with this shit. I have no idea how I managed, I watched the complete Star Trek TNG and I had around 400million in trade profit, then anaconda and outfits.
I sincerely hope they look into improving Wings. Right now, the current system is pretty garbage and unrewarding for playing together. Attempting to follow someone while jumping systems can be kind of infuriating, too.

what should I do to make good money?
So I've been farming high intensity resource sites in my Viper for the past hour or so and I've made 2 mil so far.
Where do I go from here? Should I upgrade to a different ship or grind a bit more? I wanna engage in space piracy against other players; is there any way sure fire way to find people running trade routes? So far I've mostly just seen Sidewinders, other Vipers, and Cobras. Also, are there any upgrades to make scooping up cargo less tedious?

I even left my newbie Sidewinder there so that I'd have a ship marker over the system on my map, making it easier to determine how far away it was and to prevent me from accidentally looping back.

Undermining is how I did it. Just camp out in a hostile area and keep undermining everything until you get 20,000 PowerPlay. After that, you're good for two weeks.
It'll take you a while. I'm talking weeks.
