The issue with Danse is that he didn't realize he was a synth, and therefore there could be other things about him he himself did not know about. Like Institute using him to get fresh intel right outta Brotherhood's top brass that Maxson unknowingly fed him with.
With Nick and Curie, Maxson knows what they are and can use them while maintaining an arm's distance, but with Danse the whole command chain was compromised nearly at the top.

You get a lot of it up front when you find a settlement from scrapping trees, but once you run out you don't get much from junk. Ball peen hammers and screwdrivers are the most common sources, but they don't give you much.

There is a "mod" that allows you to rename settlers through the console using bat files, it's helpful as FUCK.
On the note of arming settlers, I really want a mod that allows you to just dump excess gear in a particular container, and every settler in that settlement will auto-distribute the best of that gear among themselves. I try to hunt down guards and provisioners to arm them because it feels weird for them to be wearing patched suits and wielding pipe pistols, but it's kind of a pain in the ass.
What are all known radiant quests? Are there no non-faction radiant quests... ?

Like 30 minutes or so. I got pretty good at flipping them plus if they have muzzle mods you can grab them by the muzzle and then it's easy cos it's bottom heavy.
Also notice the institute rifle that got bonked by pic related.
Settlers don't grab that stuff, and even if they did it's just basic guns - I keep legendary and modded shit I don't use in a safe.
