Nah the broken parts aren't that much of a hassle. I just have to sit up while playing now which helps my posture. The thumbstick is surprisingly not that bad either although spinning it hurts a bit. The sticky L is really the only problematic thing.

I made the mistake of crafting a 120 raw gs with a good chunk of green as my first strong weapon early on and now I ha e four other weapon types I've crafted for but none are as easy Or consistent as aerial gs. But it's sooooo boring. Literally dodge at monster. Hold X. Repeat. The only way I learned to spice it up is by placing big barrel bombs in front of the monster and jumping off it for a triple charge. I'm scrambling for a good charge blade or gunlance asap.
