You only need one alembic if you do, since it doesn't fuck up suction if there's more than one type of essentia.

Don't do this. When you distill an item that gives more than one color of essentia, each alembic can suck a different color out of the furnace at the same time.
Here's my solution: Column of alembics, column of pipes running down one side of the alembics, one essentia buffer on top of the pipes, a bellows on the buffer so its suction reaches the bottom alembic, and one output pipe coming off the top of the buffer.
Also, vis filtered pipes. Lots of vis filtered pipes. In fact, give me a second, I'm going to see if I have a pic of my "ribcage" essentia system...

Believe it or not most of us are actually shitty builders (relativity speaking) we just follow a set standard and no ones creation is above being called out for being shit.
If you notice most of our buildings are base 3 and consist of only three materials (lets count same textured stairs,slabs and blocks as the same "material"). One block for a basic frame/skeleton usually stone or stone brick, a secondary material like wood for walls and wood stairs for window frames and third material for accent details and whatnot.

I'll give you a hint though, don't do lil xoxo type arrangements. if you want a plant to get to 10/10/10, what you do is just lay down a looooong line of cross-crops, and just put your 1/1/1 seed at the end, and let it go from there. by the time it gets to the end, if it's long enough, it'll be 10/10/10, or close enough where you can just start it over again.

It's acceptible in a "there's no natural resources" modpack.
You can't just normally go mining in regrowth (you can in the nether, but by the time you can mine those resources, you already have what you need to farm them anyway, so the nether is somewhat redundant.

You can get some dead wood, sticks, charcoal, and flint at first. You can find a few things like wheat seeds/pasture seeds, and bonemeal/floral fertilizer in the dead grass.
Aside from various forms of soil and underwater stuff (you drown VERY fast, so those are offlimits for a while), there's not much to work with outside of what you bring into existance in regrowth.
There's no ores underground, there's no passive mobs aside from squid, dead trees can't drop saplings since they have no leaves. So there's some things you can work with, but to get into any of the mods in particular, you do need to create shit from nothing.
