The whole reason why I have to carry them is because they are SHIT and can't do anything themselves, but going aura and droping a healing station is simple and requires almost no skill, so that way they could be useful.

Railgunner Sparks is the most common way to play her, but attacking Sparks is terrifying in her own right since she can heal herself and bring friendlies back if she's jumping around near the lines. Fletcher is my fav merc, I play him more than is healthy.
He's a little too good I gotta admit but he is in a weird spot. If the sticky damage gets lower than he won't be able to one shot as many mercs, which could kill him completely. 90 damage instead of 100 on a stuck bomb would be really bad for him.
What I think would be better would be a decrease in the cool down on stickies, as is you basically always have a sticky available. So decreasing the cooldown just a little bit would decrease his ability to spam. which would be pretty good.
Another solution would be to make the max damage a sticky on the floor can deal is 80, but leave stuck sticky damage at 100. This would reward more skilled game play and seriously nerf his damage at the same time.

Except you either get a direct hit or they can simply run away during the detonation timer whereas Fletcher can simply explode them mid-air and make it nearly impossible to dodge. Any decent Nader player has to use their SMG for more than half of their kills, Fletchers rarely pull out their weapons, it's mostly just to finish someone off after a sticky or two.

Keep in mind that nader has 5 grenades with larger blast radius and firing range than stickies, if fletcher is the king of spam then nader is the god of spam. Even then I don't think it's actually right to compare the two weapons as they actually serve different purposes for the mercs. For fletcher stickies are his source of damage because his guns are shit and only really good for finishing people off. whereas Nader uses the grenade launcher to control crowds and spam out people behind walls. Her guns are still a large source of her damage.
