A question about WAR dps opener, which one do you think is better/which one do you use:
build 2 stacks from cds - eye - berserk - double fells while in berserk
or
eye + bb - berserk - double fells - 5 stacks from 2 cds, 1 eye and 0.5 bb - 3rd fell in berserk
The second opener allows 3 fells in one berserk, but for the first one using cds, infuriate and berserk earlier means they become available sooner to build stacks.
I have dummy tested both and within 1.5 min (which is how long Thordan burn phase is), and both yielded roughly the same dps.
Also for general OT dps, which is better, to use cds as soon as they become available to build stacks, or save them for a triple fell cleave rotation?

Going from medium pop to Balmung was interesting
There were always people in leveling zones on my old one especially in coerthas doing fates and stuff but every main city was dead as fuck. The population in general seemed to be mostly really new players / levelers and people on trial.
I was completely blown away how many people were in cities and towns on Balmung, it actually looks like a busy city people live in instead of a ghost town.

Cactuar to Balmung back to Cactuar to Gilgamesh
Cactuar has always been shit. Balmung was shit because I hated absolutely everyone bar a select few and didn't want to be there. It was vibrant though.
The transition to Gilgamesh was quite nice. The 4chan LS was a bit more active back then (imo? Maybe just because some friends are gone now I feel this way), especially in regards to people who were actually willing to run content and etc. The community is FUCKING LIGHTYEARS ahead of Cactuar both in activity and typical level of skill. It's a very full server though, so you might feel overwhelmed if you're mega awkward? I'm not really sure how you would go about making friends here, I kinda stumbled into my friend group and have clung to it for dear life as long as possible.
I'm an extremely insular person though so I'm maybe not the best person to take words from.

Transferred to Balmung. The server is much more active and populated. Didn't make friends. For a while I actively tried meeting people and keeping conversations up, but they often either reply less and less or just say that they were busy or disliked that I am Elezen/dislike my character's looks. It's alright, I expected that. Making small talk and trying to help people around/run stuff wasn't very successful; most already have circles they hang with, and people with lots of friends can't be arsed to make more, I think. Not sure.
It's a nice, active server, though.

what kind of info are you looking for? classes haven't really changed in two years, besides new ones being added. aside from a few nuances the new classes they added fulfill the same roles.
if you mean for leveling purposes, it's as simple as following the MSQ for the most part. do sidequests if you want to overlevel MSQ, though you'll still overlevel it by quite a bit in some areas until upper 30's.
otherwise it's a pretty straightforward MMO. unless you're completely new to the genre you shouldn't have much troubles.

How to fix the content problem, retard-proof edition.
1. Release a whole relic armour SET instead of a single weapon.
2. Make each piece as long to obtain as the first relic weapon.
3. Give the relic armour set effects, which are only activated if you possess all pieces. For example, it could gave you a 20% attack boost and 20% HP boost.
4. Make the relic set upgradable after it's finished, making each piece +1,+2,+3 etc. Each tier increases the effects of your set.
5. Make the upgrade items tradeable but difficult to get. This would curb the economy and give people a reason to actually spend money instead of hoarding or wasting it on glamour and minions.
6. Add a way to permanently increase the primary stats of your main class.
7. Add passive skills that require a lot of work to unlock

Wait what do you mean by "beat" 3.1, cause as far as I could tell most of the update was based around things you are intended to do multiple times and can't really beat.
The only thing you can really "beat" is Thordan by getting a clear + whatever weapons you want for classes.
I dunno senpai I've played for like 12 hours a day every day for months and still find things to do for most of the time. Also I personally still have to clear Thordan.
If you honestly completely run out of shit to do just stop crying and unsub until next patch. It might also be a wake up call that you've been playing the same game and complaining about it every day for years and should give it a rest.
