chances are GMS won't put him in the same patch as reboot. He came after, with the mu lung revamp in KMS. They want to stretch out the patch through the holidays and most of january.
So I would hazard a guess first patch with job balancing and reboot will be the 2nd/3rd or whatever, kinesis/mu lung revamp will be 15th, maybe 20th of december, then I think they'll condense KFT revamp and urus into one patch in early/mid january.

I'd recommend a DA if you haven't played in a while. They get really good with the reboot balancing patch, plus they naturally do high damage which negates a lot of the buffed monsters. It makes it pretty easy to farm mesos if nothing else.

It's really not all that bad in regards to skills. Looting is a bit difficult but since you can buy pets at any time with milage/rewards points, it's kind of a moot issue, the only time i've had real issues with lag and my ping is during the demon opening sequence, when you have to mash CTRL to crack open the egg barrier thing. I can NEVER get it to work on KMS, no matter how fast or rhythmically I tap it, so I have to wait out the auto-complete timer.

Well, if you don't log in (to reboot. You can log in the main servers if you want) for a while, it gives you 2x coupons based on how long you didn't log in. Also some potions.
Monsters are all buffed a fair amount, have higher exp, more health, and give more mesos. Drop rate is slightly higher, I think, but it's not really noticeable.
Spell traces sell for 5000 mesos a piece, as there's no more scrolling and they would otherwise be worthless.

The stars are enhancement stars/star force stars (the same thing, some people just call them different things). You can use either an old enhancement scroll to give yourself a chance at a star and risk blowing up your item, or you can use the new star force UI to spend mesos directly to get them with less of a chance at blowing up your items (until later stars, basically.) They increase your stats, from attack to main stats like str/dex/int/luk, to defense, and more depending on what star you're on, and what the item is.
Throwing stars matter significantly less, though obviously you still want the best one you can get, because it's extra damage.

Archers are significantly less shit tier than they used to be. Bowmaster is pretty high up there in most tier lists. Wild hunter (crossbowman who rides a jaguar) is also pretty solid.
There's a much better balance of classes now, but thieves (namely sins, and their cygnus counterpart night walkers) still dominate for the most part. There's many many more classes, so people kind of spread out and play what they like as opposed to trying to fit a role now.
Also to whoever I told female equips didn't drop, I was wrong. I guess I just didn't pick them up on tespia, they do drop even if you're playing a male.

you can't fuck it up, you don't have varied builds anymore except in maybe your hyper stats which, you should be able to figure out on your own since it's changing in a few days anyway.
Dark knight is still okay.
In general, just make sure you follow the automatic AP input, and max out your passives and buffs before your attacking skills. Most of the time you should have no issue maxing out all your skills though.

I made a new cygnus knight to start for that level 120/150 blessing. But two maps left of the empress, past the place where they used to put all the high level cygnus people, the map won't load and maple crashes.

Well that sucks. Maple Guide though is a free teleport to what Nexon think is a good area for you to grind at. 80% of the time they are awful fucking suggestions like nependeaths for example. Most people who use the feature is just using it for the free teleport, that or they are insane completionist like myself.

Bucc never have to worry about MP. Their crazy high MP regen combine with the charge gimmick make it so MP requirements basically don't exist for them, at least until you die in which case you have to wait for a max of 5 secs to get enough to attack again. You have to reach level 30 as a pirate to get the passives though.

I've tried a couple of classes and I feel like the game does a poor job for opening tutorials besides Explorers and Resistance (Cygnus is probably decent as well)
I also feel like the massive amount of quests/events/whatever you're spammed with is probably shitty for new players as well. One of the quests just teleports you to a plane or some shit.

Chicken and worm is the same thing except you have to be there alive when the boss is killed
For h mag only tyrant capes is shared and you have to be alive for instances coins drop

I'm grinding solo in Extalia at the moment, what I did at 163 was grinding in mutant tiro until 165, then at 165 did pres for Stronghold. From there, I hung out in the map right outside FDH and SDH till 200. When I got a little higher level (like 180-something) I went to the map right after.
On an unrelated note, which chucklefuck thought it was a good idea to make PQs the best way to grind ANYTHING? I'd argue it's more annoying than endlessly grinding MP. Now you have to spend 20+ minutes endlessly spamming "J>>>>>PQQQQQ". That's inarguably worse.
