What are your guys' opinions on progressing through the storyline? Do you prefer leveling and getting higher skills before becoming the Dragonborn or is it better to just roll with the storyline?
I've been playing this game since day 1 and there's just something keeping me from doing the storyline because I'm afraid I'll be too weak for the content but then when I do get strong enough the story becomes extremely boring for me. I use Requiem and mods to edit in guild requirements. Gotta love waking up with the sun, refilling your waterskin and grabbing a few loaves of bread for the day, taking a job from a guild leader before hitting the trail as the sun rises. Do you plan on doing them all at once or one after the other? If so, its best to have a back-up since quest mods lingering in your game can bog it down with scripts. Quest mods are usually a complete and roll back type of thing. The only exception I find would be Wheels of Lull, which is more DLC than a quest mod since it has endgame content that makes it worth keeping in your game.

I have a strange problem. Whenever I barely tap lmb on Skyrim my weapon doesn't swing UNLESS I have a shield equipped. Tamriel as a whole is a different story, but in the end each person focuses on what they enjoy the most. To you, characters are probably no more than vehicles to traverse discover the world.

Is the Crime Overhaul mod decent? I installed it because I'm tired of Lydia running into a furball of vampires and guards and tallying up a 100,000 coin bounty. I had a guard in whiterun say he was going to keep an eye on me on loop while standing on a pile of guard corpses. I can clear it via console but I get accidental attacks on guards constantly from my fucking followers.
