I admit that the MP 400 basically gives Proxy two primary guns and she can therefore sustain herself and still get kills without having to go get ammo for a lot longer, the great augments of the KE53 really makes up for the lack of a machine pistol. The DE is a fine finishing weapon and can be used to great effect in a pinch.

The mess that are my first 2 pages.
So this was kind of weird. I get a LE case from a stopwatch match and return to main menu, then the screen prompts me that I just got an expert case for logging in today, even though I already got my expert case today. It was also Case A unlike the Case B I got earlier today.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Anybody else find themselves trying different loadouts since the event started? I used to follow the /dbg/ guide strictly, but ever since I got a CW card that isn't considered very good I been trying a lot of loadout, now I am not going to deny there are some really bad ones(anything with pineapple juggler) but there are some are very underrated.

The 'ev glitch' is the most retarded myth in the game. It was in the game for like a week tops. ThomaZe and most other current 'high level' players were already super high level(for the time) before the glitch was found and they kept gaining massive amounts of experience after it was fixed. I'm fairly certain none of the guys who actually abused that glitch still play. Why would they? They clearly didn't like the game if they were willing to risk their accounts by bug abusing. Nader is a really simple merc once you figure out her purpose. She's more dependent on choke points than fragger due to her low HP. Just don't do anything too aggressive, let your team go in first and spam nades over there heads. Or on Defense find a choke and make it your own, nobody goes down it without getting a nade to the face.

It's a TF2 "knockoff" in the sense that the characters are all mercenaries and all have separate personalities. That's where it ends. DB is much more fast paced, and much more objective based than TF2. Your score is much more important than your kills in this game.
Also, the mercs can all fight. The Medic in TF2 is focused on healing, for example, but all the DB medics are capable fighters in their own rights. Two of them are more like frontline riflemen who can heal themselves than plain medics.
Overall, it's a different game than TF2, and in my opinion, more fun than TF2.

I'll put it this way: Except for right now, in this special weekend it's not a game you can grind your way to the top without burning yourself out on it. Mercs are expensive in in-game currency and take work to get, but that doesn't matter so much as every week there's a new rotation of free mercs. Early on this feels like shit as it'll change and you won't have any seemingly viable cards, but over time it gets to be less and less of an issue.
I've played for a few months and unlocked 4 characters so far. My best advice is not to get discouraged at the card system early on and to learn the maps. The card system seems very stacked at first, but again, as you accumulate cards and more mercs it seems less shit.
What I personally recommend doing after you've gotten straight into it and start hitting a brick wall progress-wise is to play a few matches every day for the bonuses/to complete the missions then either wait 3 hours or do something else.

Not really. You get 35k credits by the time you reach level 4 (which you do in like three games before leveling up becomes worthless), and if you complete your daily bonuses/missions you can unlock a merc about every week and a half. This is on top of the two mercs you get free (Skyhammer and Aura so you always have ammo/healing) and the three mercs that are on free rotation. In that rotation, there will always be an engine, so you will always have an objective specialist at your disposal as well. Getting the loadout card you want in the quality you want is honestly harder than getting the mercs themselves.

I dunno about "much more" objective based, but that's the main focus of the rounds in this game. The maps have stages and you have to complete the first objective to get to the next portion. Also some maps contain side objectives, such as disabling generators to open doors or lower barriers. Conversely the defensive side can close off doors once they are blown open and raise barriers. There are also machine gun platforms you can build and destroy.
The primary objectives include escorting an armored vehicle that you have to repair first and can be repeatedly destroyed, delivering cases, and planting C4 on various structures.
You can completely dominate a team, but if they plant the c4 and it goes off you can still lose.

Don't worry, it really isn't as bad as you think. All the classes can do the game-critical things. All classes can plant/defuse C4, all classes can help a downed player back up, and all classes can repair objectives. It's very easy to just play the same merc game after game without changing him and still doing good.
Skyhammer himself is actually really really good. One of the best mercs in the game in sheer utility and base weapons even. You can dominate with his base card easily.

First Objective in Bridge is impossible if defenders have half a brain.
Heavy melee is only good for killing squishy characters, because otherwise you leave yourself open to getting shot in the face while your character recovers, but those same characters are running sanic speed so it's impossible to hit them with it.
If they buffed it back to how it was, it would be worth anyone's time. Now it's just too punishing.

Try using another mouse for a bit, preferably wired. If nothing else, change out the batteries.
Also check to make sure no mouse accel is on. If there's an option for it (I haven't checked), enable raw input in the options menu.
