Has anyone actually seen blank rune? I've done dozens of breaking runs and watched a lot of afterbirth content on twitch and such and haven't actually seen it in game. Is it just statistic being funny or is it actually bugged out? Is the rune named blank rune or does it assume the name of the effect it will give (thus just decreasing the rarity of runes)?

Actual unavoidable damage rooms are rooms where a monster actually spawns on you, or situationally rooms filled with red poop that can't be crossed no damage if you have an explosive item.

Bullet hell bosses like hush and the new spraying fucker can restrict your movement for multiple seconds. Dropping a turd in there is guaranteed damage which with the push back can cascade into additional damage. The item is overall just a hassle from any standpoint except for breaking mechanics (infinite bombs). It's effectively placenta for extra bombs. Most people want to be in charge when they heal/release bombs/do anything in the game so they usually avoid it. It's objectively good only in greed mode where consumables have inherit value.

Stage two is 100% RNG in whether or not you take damage from it. There's no tell when Isaac does it, and there's no warning where it is. It's an extremely low chance it hits you, but if it does, it's unavoidable.

Bloat or Stain are fair fights, though. They're tricky, but if you're good enough you can consistently beat them without taking any damage without any upgrades. Daddy Longleg's leg attack has the same problem Isaac's 2nd stage light beams has though, and cannot be dodged.

That's why The Lost was so poorly conceived, and The Keeper as he stands is an incompetently-designed character. These issues don't occur to tankier characters, but it's not the end of the world when a champion kills your Judas run

Health Scaling in itself isn't a bad idea, it's just done idiotically in BoI. The problem is how much the Hush's HP scales to. There should be some sort of hard cap that it can reach, or it should be scaled so that the Hush only has maybe 2/3rds of its current HP depending on what damage you have, so the fight doesn't take fucking forever.

I died to a multiboom as isaac in the basement, my own bomb as maggie in the caves, to mom as judas (all three with seeds) and I think to satan as azazel with no seed.
