You manage to scale the mass fusion building and find some unique legs, only to discover that they just share the combat armour model and the reason for that is because they are just combat armour with a unique mod on them.
Just like every-fucking-thing else in this game, the uniques are just mods that go on vanilla gear.
This has allowed bethesda to plumb new depths of laziness henceforth thought unattainable.
No longer do they need to hand-make special gear.
No longer do they need to ensure there is a good selection of weapons and armors.
No longer do they need to hand-make quests, just radiant that shit and "reward" them with a levelled set of power armor at the end!

Talking does nothing. You can trade with it and I imagine its carrying capacity is pretty high. The collisions to initiate conversation are really finicky with it though. Obviously not something intended. You often need to shuffle around a bit in front of it to find the sweet spot which is annoying.

Stranger still because Vault 81 is a still alive community in the area, and Travis says on the first radio story about you that "it's not like it's the first time anyone's seen a vault suit or anything".
It was one thing in Fallout 3 since presumably no one knew about the people alive in Vault 112 and the others were either insane or wrecked. You were the first one out in a long while and none were regularly trading with outsiders.
Just another inconsistency I suppose, but I feel like this was a thing NV did differently where the radio news didn't refer to you directly very much because that's not how news stories usually work.You discuss each event as its own situation rather than act like you're telling the story of the protagonist, the idea being that you *already know* your own involvement in the event being described.

That was just a skeleton edit mod I downloaded from Nexus.
Also if you change followers hair with showlooksmenu it breaks them, so I dunno how to do that. They probably used TesVedit or something to change Piper / Curie up, but thats just a guess.
If you want to try it anyway, get Cait's ID, usually by clicking on her, and then type "showlooksmenu ID" but save before you do this, you otherwise might get stuck with a permanently broken Cait.
