Yeah.

If you're playing with new players then no. Anywhere under 5k mmr (top 1% skill easily), you won't win games by supporting well. That being said, a good support will be a driving force in any victory, if that makes any sense.

However, people in the lower bracket don't understand the concept of applying pressure and taking objectives, so the team with five cores will win because every game goes to 40+ mins.
Of course you can win if you're good, but it's on you to control your team of tards and forcefeed them the win.

Depends on why you're only support, but you are prolly gonna have to babysit. You can duck into the jungle to freeze a large creep when you get a moment, but carry's farm is more important then yours and CM is too slow to solo roam.
