Going at maximum speed and jumping a lot always fucks with snipers, so I don't think that is a bad idea. I main Vassili and rarely even bother to try and pick Vassili on Bridge's first objective. And if I do, I try to go for medics or healing stations first, who are usually around the EV, instead of the defending Vassilis by the red van on CDA side.

Although thinking about it I'm not sure how a sniper could even get a line with my station, on first obj my defensive spots are aggressive rear of EV (hugging green wall so you can't shoot it from meatgrinder door and it's protected from fire support AoE by roof) / defensive rear of EV (a little further back to funnel people into you but makes your team tunnel vision and get flanked by a proxy...) / fallback defensive front of EV (right after crossing the street around a green corner so you have a line to door and front of EV, uncomfortable to hold but hard to flank, I use it to stage a retake of rear of EV).
I should probably get nader and play her for a while to get a sense of what spots are annoying to hit with AoE, in pubs it's hard to get a sense of actually good station spots as opposed to pub team being too retarded to spam AoE in the general direction of what would otherwise be a terrible spot.
I wish there was an aura station spot guide...maybe I should start documenting where I put them, but I don't play comp so my pub experience is irrelevant.
