Bullshit. I import all my Vita games even though I could buy them digitally, and it's not that expensive and absolutely no effort.
There are enough shops that sell worldwide. Nitro+ even has their own worldwide store(though shipping is overpriced there).
Even if you buy from shops that don't ship internationally, it's only ~300-500 yen forwarding fee.
Shipping for games is cheap because they're light. Just choose SAL if you don't have money.
You can easily evade import taxes by undervaluing.
The only 'effort' you have is looking for a shop like NY, telling them to undervalue and wait for it. Forwarding is a bit harder, but also super easy.

I found the lack of narration to be unsettling, further exacerbated by the protagonist not speaking more than thirty lines over the course of Toma's route. It honestly felt like Orion was the protagonist, talking at the player. Weird shit.
I've read VNs which had little to no narration before but they had a varied cast and the production team were evidently trying to emulate anime style banter so the lack of narration wasn't jarring. But in Amnesia there's literally protag, Orion talking at the protag, and the hero.

So I've finally finished BAW.
It was... so-so. The most voted amazon reviews are good, so I won't repeat after them.
The game definitely lacks romance. You chase after one guy, touch him a little, and puff, there's romance, but nope, it's the end of the route. So if you want your kokoro to go doki doki, it won't. The most interesting parts are the good endings, but they're written to be tearjerkers.
Lot's of plot points are left untouchedfor example you get to know about main guys death, but now about white's, so I guess they want to make a FD later. They actually should, because it's the only way to save the plot.
There's also a yandere sub-subchara in one of the backstoriesWhite was too edgy, I liked him until the 8th chapter, after this it became an edgy ride

Sanzu got the unfortunate subchara treatment, subject to inavoidable skipping. The skip system is so clunky in this game. Some of the parts work as they should, when some are scene based. Good luck skipping the exact same text during the last scene in the school.

Character Design means what it says: that she designed the characters. And since that other artist is in the opening, right after Teita, it seems to imply that she did the CGs.
The background artist is someone different, and there are multiple chibi artists. I think there were also mulptiple artists for the sprites listed.
