Tree of Savior is a new action MMORPG with a lot of classes and cute hats. IMC Games have shown an interest in an international release, and has begun testing the game in various other languages, including English and Japanese, even whilst the Korean version is still in testing. The game is currently in the beta phase, and not fully released.

Awakening prices seem pretty bad because most people just want to get as much money from it as possible. You have people trying to (and possibly succeeding) sell awakened scale boots or hard veris boots for 400-500k.
Though I guess I've also asked if anybody can awaken stuff in this thread and never actually got a reply, so maybe that's an issue: almost nobody wants to awaken stuff on the cheap to anybody but their friends.

The 130 dungeon is good experience. The only issue with it is that it's long as fuck and takes longer than even later dungeons do to clean up every mob.
I prefer boss rushing the 130 dungeon over boss rushing the 90 and 175 dungeons. The only mobs that act like dicks are on the alternative path to Harpeia, and I can skip them by going from Mineloader straight to Harpeia. 175 is more fun to do a full run with, though

even auto attacks can be interupted this way, you can get in a huge mob and your auto attacks suddenly take twice as long to go off, i used to think it was lag from all the mobs on screen or something, but nope, pain barrier fixes it, its just you being staggered.
it doesnt work well vs knockbacks for me either, its to prevent stagger and let you get your skills off smoothly. Its like it takes you out of the game world and you are running in your own pocket dimension where attacks just dont phase you.
Its an amazing skill. i have it up on cooldown now, things just work better.

Try just auto attacking though. You will notice it. This also applies to skill execution, with it taking a few tries to get the skill to go off to start with, and if its timed just right your skill will go on cooldown with out actually going off, super annoying

Sword2 literally does nothing, and it is even less future-proof considering that past rank 6 levels concentrate isn't even needed and having 8 extra hits on it doesn't even matter. And the difference between pain barrier 5 and 10 is nothing, you still have downtime.

Discipline. You are 6 hours grinding at 2nd demon prison away from level 166, after that it is just a few hours away from 200.
Just put on some nice music, or something on the background to keep you "in the zone" while grinding. Before you even notice, you will be out of the prison.

You're at 160, that's 90% there. Grind 2nd Demon Prison for another 3-4h and you'll be 166, then pop your cards to propel you up to 175, then quest for another 5h and you'll be 200.
Leveling is fast as fuck so far, especially with double exp going on.

Plate and cloth masteries are actually pretty decent aren't they? The fact that they occur before defense reductions means that even at 15% it's still fairly meaningful reduction in damage. Evasion hits diminishing returns hard around 70%-80% evasion, and the hp bonus of plate is just crazy.

I'm a swordsman and I'm tempted to switch to cloth from plate.
The only thing that threatens me with a full dex build is undodgeable magic damage.
Seems the current kCBT3 server has been changed to a different server. The client.xml file has a new server URL.
Ausrine is probably going to be the OBT server, whilst this one might continue along side it for future testing, maybe.
The current exp rates are a bit too fast for R1 but from R4 onwards, they feel just fine.

Why are skeletons so useless?
They only have about 3.5k HP each so they basically die in one hit to any boss mob and a couple of hits from any elite.
Their HP doesn't scale with anything in-game that I've found. SPR, INT, con, skill level and attributes don't affect their HP at all.
So if they're fairly bad now at 200 they're probably going to be completely useless at high levels

There's no need to grind until around 170 if you use cards constantly, based on experience. It's probably much easier using iCBT2 logic and grinding in certain areas and withholding cards.
For example, there's no need to grind in Demon Prison till 165+ and save cards, quests can carry you there. Also, you most likely have R5 by the end of Mage Tower if you did the quests in the right order.

Alright, after trying out an arde dagger, I'm confused as to why people want it. it doesn't seem to effect my normal attack once it's equipped, so couldn't you just get a weapon with ~160 atk to surpass the arde dagger?

All elemental damage gets applied to damage you do, including skills that normally cannot be augmented by skills and stats. Considering it's an offhand weapon, it's incredibly good to add 153 attack power to your mainhand attacks.

i should note, that when mindlessly swinging in the air outside a dungeon on my hop, another hop came and stood next to me and started doing it too. I swang around 25-30% faster than they did (for every ~4 attacks they did, i managed to do about 5)

Skeleton AI is horrible, stop following you and/or working as a whole whenever they please Skeletons becomes hostile for evey single boss (You can't kill them yourself, need shoggoth). That raises one simple question, why are skeletons so buggy while shoggoth actually works just fine, sure it likes to kill things off screen for centuries but he will never stop fighting. Skeltons dies so fast, they do okish damage but i'm sure both their offensive abilities and survivability will be shit later on. And of course today when i decided to try it some more i discovered that both them and shoggoth loved to kill my ice walls, wasting damage.
Shoggoth is ok but damage is mediocre, i suppose decay is fine. It might die somewhat fast later on.
Corpse Tower damage is mediocre, again it will probably fall off later on.
Dirty Poll is ok because it applies decay
Gathering skills are useless
Flesh hoop is okish but because it doesn't aoe it's pretty bad to kill even a small group unless they are linked.

Why do people continuously propagate this meme? It's not "over" as soon as you're out of prison, and you most definitely can't get to 200 qith just questing after that either.
Graduating prison just means you're 175, maybe 177. The EXP reset isn't until 186, and there's a ton of grinding to be made until that point. And even after the reset, there are no more quests after 187, so all you have are the last 30 cards(takes you to 193), and you still have to do the 190 dungeon 3 or 4 days to get 200.

Barbarian is the most boring thing I've ever played. Sure you have an easier time soloing but parties are what matters most. All I have is damage and nothing else, I'd much rather be the healer that supports the team or the pelt/linker who brings utility and clear speed. Or a mage with their visually appealing nukes. You can quest, use level 6 cards, and do the 130 dungeon to 150. With double exp, the 130 dungeon levels you up extremely quickly.

Already tried monk, priest, paladin, psychokino, cryomancer, ranger, hoplite, peltasta, barbarian and highlander.
Keep on the road for kamehameha is also an option, but I don't think will be worth. Also, is probably too late for Reiter, that I also think wouldn't be worth but sounds cool, or keep my barbarian until kirito/fencer. Those are the best pre-existent options, prob.
