No Fun Allowed PVP is literally 2b2t for Ark, no rules whatsoever. Coming from that shithole you will have to adjust to a few things, firstly you can't base way out in secrecy, the map is far too small for that, secondly a large part of the game lies in the massive grind to build stuff and whatnot, you can spend weeks of farming to make just a shitty metal cube with a fireplace.
Also depends on what kind of rig you've got, this game barely runs even on new hardware due to shit optimization.

You could check again during Christmas or the summer sale, it will probably be discounted for both of those and we might have an answer on whether or not the devs are going to continue with their retarded vision for the game. If they keep their no fun final destination blinders on, I wouldn't give them money because the game is going to suck if they add much more bullshit to it.
It can be really great, but it's sort of shallow and the players you use to make it meaningful are generally shitty. NFA PvP might have nicer players, but they'll be so friendly you won't get to do PvP anyway. PvE doesn't offer much beyond Pokemon, though it does have a structured war option that is probably better than PvP's "get raided by server police offline" meta.

There's a good chance it won't be worth getting in a couple months. Someone has to hold the devs accountable so the "Early Access Model" stops getting used when it's convenient and ignored when they have to fix the problems associated with it being an alpha.
Just a heads up. We at Ug Nug are thinking of setting up a public use industrial forge/fabricator/etc in the volcano. We tried to make it ours, but apparently people didn't like it and tore most of our shit up there not too long ago. So we're going to try to do this as a balance between keeping the volcano closed off and preventing tons of people from building up there and blocking the resource spawns.

you don't use wires, you use the fuse box. The wires just connect the box to the generator, the box sprays wires into whatever needs to be powered.
