this is especially true for higher mmr players, because if you are 5k+ then you are more likely to read articles, watch streams and collect/review your own stats.

No, dota is just so much more complex than CSGO or even LoL that casting it is far more of a challenge.
I mean CSGO is brain dead simple, you point a gun and shoot. There's no real change up to how you play 90% of the maps, there's no change in what you buy most of the time and there's no change in what players do. The only maps people play are demolition maps which has a very clear cut and easy to understand objective. Again, there's no real change in how you play CSGO no matter the team or map.
And LoL doesn't even count as complex when the devs have outright stated they want the game to be as braindead simple as possible.
