finished Omega Labyrinth, posting some thoughts
The last 6 floors of the last dungeon (44F-50F) were what the entire game should've been like, two enemy types actually made me sweat, though I'm pretty sure that's just the effect of being in a freezer for six hours and finally walking into a fridge
The boss battle in pic related pretty much summed up most of the game for me, I've never seen a "boss" get destroyed in two hits, teleport away, then fall asleep without attacking me once. As a roguelike with a CERO D rating I had some hopes for it, but it didn't really deliver. On the plus side, it was over quickly (~15 hours).
Even if I only judge the fanservice without touching the gameplay, there are several ways it could've been better, for example:
- more ryona CGs for each dungeon trap, instead of just one each
- more rescue missions, for every girl, instead of just one each
- add an option to identify items with ass instead of tits
The saddest part is that I can't say it was unequivocally better than bullet girls because BG's minigames were so much better. I don't know how to improve Omega Labyrinth's other than to simply add more.
