I had fun playing Rayman Legends with a friend. Really brought back a sense of couch co-op from back in the day. The levels are good and there's lots of stuff to collect but aside from that there's not much to do after completing it all. It's much better than Origins. I'd get it if its cheap.
Can't say anything about the other two as I haven't played them though.

Yeah. I got my physical copy for $12. I was pretty surprised by how much enjoyment I got out of it. The jumping is good, the movement is good. Couch co-op was great, even just taking turns after dying was fun.

Gotta disagree with you on that.
I thought the Murphy levels were unfun slogs, most of the new regular ones are too easy thanks to the new checkpoint system, and I didn't care much for the challenges after the first week.
The only parts of it that stack up to Origins or are consistently better imo are the musical and boss levels, plus the levels from Origins that you can unlock.
I mean I still had fun with it and got the plat but it didn't live up to my hopes for it.
Though I played on vita so I dunno how many differences there are between the two versions.

Because that collection is a repackaging of games that have already been released on that platform. The case simply contains the three game discs that were released originally, no dev work was involved in the Disgaea Triple Collection being a thing. It's simply a bundle that they're offering that's a little cheaper than getting them separately, basically.

No. The only upside I know of is that you can see yourself in the Sun with the camera, besides that you can use the Playstation app to draw and take pictures. The only other thing it uses is the microphone, and the game will warn you when to plug it in, and if you don't they just subsititute a sound in that you can tweak.
Last boss of the DLC was quite the bitch. Overall, the DLC was pretty good though despite all the reused assets.
I wonder if they'll do more any time soon, though I suppose they're all on DS3 by now.

Depends on how much shit you can put up with. You may find a few people online that defend it with "works on my machine ;)" but it's really not a good game.
All the charm of the past titles are gone, with dumb decisions Sumo made. There are bugs fucking everywhere, ones that delete your save, stop your progress, and graphical bugs. And they're all fairly common too. Not to mention the game is short as fuck after four years of development.
The community really isn't as big as it used to be either. I regret paying any amount of money for it, and I loved 1 and 2.

Has to be the most charmful game I've played in years, and the attention to detail is overkill. Does the PS4 version basically tell the same story with modifications to the world/geometry to suit the PS4's gimmicks, or is it mostly a retread?

It's not a straight port. Call it a reimagining for the PS4. Areas are expanded, mechanics have been adjusted, even the story takes some different turns here and there. There's a lot that's the same, but there's also plenty that's new. It's what all cross-platform games should be.

That was probably the biggest misstep on the Vita. It was drag'n'drop with no confirm. Made it a pain to scale/rotation and try to place it in the spot you wanted all at the same time.

Yes and no. They redid the UI but it uses motion from the DS4, but it can mess up sometimes. The touchpad drawing is awful too, but you can atleast use the companion app.

I don't know since FC4 is the only one I played but it was exactly the same as the last Ubisoft game I played which was AC3 in 2012. It's virtually the same as every other modern Ubi game but with a shit story full of unlikable characters and a villain who did nothing wrong.
