New tier list lads. Post super regionals edition. Ranking is determined by pick/ban rate, win rate, some theorycrafting and perceived effectiveness in the super regionals. The meta seems to be favouring a severe lack of snowball and heavy focus on 4v4 and 5v5 teamfights. Teamfight specialization is key to success.
Some of the more interesting things here are
>Zhong in S-
He underperformed. Some games he carried, but once teams kind of figured out how to counter him (shell, Ne Zha's banish) he ended up losing a lot of games. He's good for sure, but he's not the super early pick material people thought he was.
>Serqet and Bastet in S-
Serqet fell hard because her teamfight is just not up to par with the most hotly contested junglers; Thor and Hun Batz. She still has extremely high gank and pick potential, but she struggles too much in a teamfight to be picked so early. Bastet flew up to S- because of how valuable her poke was, especially against zeus. Her winrate was good and I can't argue with results. Being able to get off a ton of damage on the enemy and jump away makes her more valuabe to teams that are always teamfighting than say Fenrir or Kuang who can't just jump in as they please.
>Merc and Ne Zha A+
considered weak junglers for the majority of S2 these two performed extremely well in the games they played. The presence of Ne Zha's ult to banish Zhong or delete Zeus was the key to his success, and he just excels lategame. Mercury is similar, his ultimate is such a valuable teamfight tool, and a lategame meta favors him a ton.

That meta is old and irrelevant. The gold fury was worth way more, kills were worth way more. The snowball was a large part of the game and so thor's early and mid was overwhelming to Kali teams. Now, it's just not possible to have the game take off like before. Thor is now valued for his high teamfight presence being able to hand out so much crowd control.
Kali is just good against Thor because she can just outplay him all game. Stunning out his 3, or stunning him while he tries to blink away makes it really hard for Thor to actually fight Kali. Having Thor as the enemy jungler is a positive if they elect him over Serqet or Bastet.

You're also listing hypothetical situations. Thor doesn't need to fight Kali, he just needs to gank. Kali is shit at counter ganking unless they go for a dive. She has no displacement like Serqet and Hun Batz, and no ranged cc/sticking power like Bastet.
Snowballing being less effective doesn't mean it's ineffective. Factor in item changes as well, HoG was nerfed to shit, Kali's clear is meh. Her early game is slower than it was before, Qins was also nerfed, as was executioners, neither of those are core items for any other top junglers.
To top it off. this meta isn't even fun for her. Ne Zha is a little shit and you can't ult during his, forced to beads. Khepri literally invalidates you. Good luck keeping a Hel down. >Bellona. Sol can go untargetable for 80% your ult duration, Bastet is super slippery and not worth chasing down most of the time. Xin has too much displacement for Kali, again, forced to beads if hes anywhere near you(and popping your ult early just to avoid him is fucking retarded) .

I want the Japanese Pantheon to have more focus on Yōkai and not oriental looking humans to differentiate a bit more from the gods we already do have. I also want some refocusing on kits back down to simple and basic without the overbloating some of the moves recent gods has been getting.

On the other hand sounds like a terrible assassin, how do you initiate and gank? A speed buff lane is a huge tell, and while the passive might be useful to initiate and run away from the duolane, but with no real surprise or hard CC, not much you can do alone.
How do you jungle? The movement ability's DoT is the only that sounds like it can be used for that, and that's your only movement option.

His ultimate should have an AOE stun/slow on enemies close to the person you're linked to as you land. I don't know the unit measurements so I can't give you a radius. It'd make him at least have some team fight presence. Also his 3 needs a buff when it comes to minions. It doesn't fulfill the "High sustain" it promises.
