In his defense, only the most mentally challenged of F-80 pilots will try to engage in maneuvers instead of just running away and climbing for two hours after every attack.

I think 20mm API shells can over-penetrate and FI-T in 20mm is absolutely useless. API machine gun rounds work really well due to volume of fire and hitting more often, which gives them more chances to ignite.
Just grind out better belts and use the ground targets belts with heaps of HEI shells.

On the other hand, bombs require upgrades for fighters. Some may not have any at all.

If your team doesn't have at least one dedicated bomber alive the match will probably never end. The chances of a bomber surviving that long are incredibly low, too.

I've been keeping count and I've lost every single game against soviets except for 1 in the last 15 matches against them. It's a hilarious joke that regardless of altitude the yak3 and lalalal7 outperform everything and kill everyone with what is pretty much a laser mounted to the aircraft. I suggest anyone else who gets a match against soviets just finds another match and leaves them waiting in the cue with their seal clubbing lawn mowers
