It basically locks the game since every single cycle is busy, it runs at 60fps but all inputs become delayed and floaty, making me run in a circle aiming at random until it sorts itself out. Then I can play the rest of the match with zero issue.

You'd have to get something like 6k xp per round on average to make long Supremacy rounds or Walker Assault to compete with TDM for xp per hour. The bonuses are honestly too big for how short the rounds are. Sure there's no objective score but you'll usually kill that much more to compensate for the lack of it.
Not that I only play TDM. I usually do it when I get tired of other people losing me the game. Atleast in TDM I can carry my team by being a better shooter than 90% of the community.

Its the worst mode because the airships arent balanced. Rebels win every time. Hell, its literally impossible to bring down the Millennium Falcon and he can simply shield and ram Slave I as soon as he shows up.

There are two ways it can dissapear
Either the point has moved, and so the powerups all shift, or somebody else got the a hero pickup elsewhere

Each squad has a leader, who is the only one that can be spawned on
Squad leaders get special markings/models to identify them

Pulse requires the charge up but gets a kill with a full charge. Cycler requires a headshot for a 1 shot kill, otherwise it does like 90% of their life in damage, this means you can finish off anyone even remotely hurt or hit them with the cycler then shoot them one with your primary.
At least thats how it worked in the beta, no idea if it was changed at all but i doubt it was and having used the pulse cannon id say cycler over pulse every time. Only reason i havent used the cycler yet is because im still preferring nade+jet pack or homing rifle+ion rocket, but i should pick it back up because it causes a good amount of butthurt.

Ion grenade is amazing and almost 1 hit kills ATSTs, it even sticks to them. Obviously it sucks that you need to be close though.
Flashbang requires you to have it pop close as fuck to whoever you want to blind otherwise its a minor annoyance, if it was stronger though it would be outright op.
Scout trait works at all ranks. People dont notice me running to them drom behind and ive literally had GROUPS of people not turn around when ive flanked them while having rank 2 scout. Ive outright been fucking ignored while clearly shooting people from behind with rank 2 but they will turn to face me at rank 1, you need to pull better flanks lad.

Some of those are more or less debatable but I will say that the rebels fighters are massively better than the imperial ones, the shields are so absurdly strong that you can allahu akbar other fighters and live to tell the tale and more or less take no damage.

Make a 3rd preset. Dont delete the 2nd one just leave it blank. Then at the start of a new game for your 2nd hand switch to the third preset. This is a temp fix until its patched who knows when. Also it needs to be done every match because it defaults your 2nd hand to the 2nd preset, but again simply switch to the third

Impact Grenade + Thermal Det + Star Card of your choice is a fairly basic anti infantry setup. Works great in TDM and even bigger game modes especially in the bunkers that some of the maps have.
Shield + Jump pack is great for taking objectives.
Ion Shot + Ion Torpedo is awesome for Walker Assault as Rebels.

How do we balance Walker Assult? Becuase the rebels win on ever map. Tatooine and Sullust are really the only maps I see Imps win on, if they get lucky. Adding the weak spots really made the AT-ATs less tanky. Hoth can no longer be won since Imps get stupid spawns, and rebels can camp on the hill tops. Tatooine is sort of okay. Just needs a little team coordination. Same with Sullust, also turbo laser spam. And lastly Endor. It's completely fucked for Imps. I get that Endor should be rebel biased, but if they went the biased approach, then Hoth should be a cakewalk for Imps. Clearly this isn't the case, so Endor is bye far the most imbalanced map. First point is an easy high ground fight for rebels and an easy bunker fight. The second set of uplinks, if games reach that point, the AT-AT is most likely at 10 or so health, and the up links are way to easily defended. On point can be camped while the other is in an ewok village, which Imps can never get to. I don't even know how badly balanced the third set of up links are since games NEVER reach that point. It's seriously the second set that ends all games with that stupidly placed up link in the trees

Hoth was pretty well balanced in the beta. It was mostly a case of people not knowing how to play the game and towards the end of the beta Rebels started winning a lot more. It was possible to win it in the first phase if you dominated but most games would drag all the way to the 3rd. The biggest issue with it was the spawns and stupid placement of powerups which hasn't really changed. First spawn points were moved for both teams and they're still fucking retarded. Possibly even more so than they were in the beta. They should roll it back to the beta version and do less retarded tweaks from there.
Tatooine needs to be less of a flat corridor and maybe some spawn/powerup tweaks, I'd say it's the most balanced one however.
Sullust has a similar issue with it's corridorness but it takes it up a notch by making it great for a team who gets the points locked either way and digs in to defend them. The first and last set of objectives in particular are something that are almost impossible to overtake if the other team is prepared to defend. It has fairly good powerup placement.
Endor should maybe have only one objective per wave OR the speed at which Rebels get Y-wings should be cut to half. The problem with it is that it's all too easy to get 5-7 Y-wings in the first phase and that'll absolutely devastate the AT-AT. The trees make it rather impossible to shoot down Y-wings unlike the other maps. Afaik there's only one AT-ST at a time so bumping that to two might give imps a bit more of an edge. Spawn points could use some tweaking aswell.
In general the game mode needs the option to pick what spawn point you end at.

When starting out use nade+impact nade, especially for small map modes like blast, droppod, and cargo. The scan card is probably the best because its essentially a wallhack.
Once you get some levels though youll definitely want to use jetpack+whatever. Jetpack is honestly too good. If youre losing a fight simply jetpack away or use it to cross up people, this gives you a huge fucking advantage, by simply rushing them you pretty much gaurantee a kill. Have an anti-vehicle loadout that is ion nade+ion shot+ion rocket for when you are getting your shit pushed in by an at-st or air. I even ran homing rocket+ion rocket for a bit and just used them every time they cooled down. Homing rocket is almost a free kill and ion rocket works wonders against annoying air niggers.
One thing i will say though is to try them all out and different combinations too, once you figure out what you like make sure you upgrade that fucking card. Especially regular grenade, upgraded is huge.

Seriously, I camped one of the beacons with an AT ST for each phase and made sure that the rebels never turned it on. They were still able to get four, five, six Y Wings with the other signal station and they still got to destroy the AT AT.

Yea yeah. In all honesty I think the lasers of the TIE fighter should be given a buff. In other Star Wars games they're shown to have an extremely fast rate of fire, but it's been slowed down in battlefront.

It's really unbelievable how little content this game shipped with. I'm talking maps, weapons, ships, heroes, all of that. The hero dialogue is amazing in this game, really. They've even got lines for when you mis; I was incredibly surprised when Fett said 'I must be getting sloppy' after I missed a couple of shots on the same target. Hell, I'm pretty sure there are lines for when you wound someone who gets away and then more lines for killing them later.
