Shotguns are my favorite class in most video games, and once you start getting the penetration and damage bonuses you can tear through mobs and even special specimens like nothing.

Unfortunately this is becoming a huge trend in PC gaming. Just look at what happened to Payday 2. Massive community uproar over it, Steam review score plummeted to 75%, and the game still had a peak of 16,700 today. People love this shit.

i'd say you'd only played modern fps but even cods have noticeable sprints. i actually laughed when i first played the game. as a personal problem try any other game then come back to it and you'll notice the difference

Out of all things to have this big an issue withand there's a fair amount of things, this is a first.
To be fair though, our priorities are on talking balancing perks rather than running a bit faster, if we were able to just go sanic then it would make kiting or spacing between shit like fleshpounds a lot easier, especially for zerks unless zeds get a speed buff too.

i can also see it as a game mechanic that forces players to be sectioned off to different parts of the maps for trade pods. this mechanic is certainly more clever than blocking areas off entirely like painkiller however feels like the game play suffers as a result. perhaps bigger maps would solve this? so running isnt a problem for it rather than stopping people from just getting their quickly. at the moment the spee is actually a game breaker for me. i hate feeling like im stuck on fly paper with no way of dogging enemies at all and it does feel painful watching the animation of a sprint as make such little speed increase.
