Looking over the face vales of everything, it would seem that the alt stuff is better, but after equiping it all, you sacrifice either crit chance/mana cost or mana amount. Jungle surves as a medium balance to them all. Also jungle can be obtained in just a few minutes. As for the band, use the celestial cuffs unless you have the celestial emblem. If you have the emblem, use the magic cuff and it.

Obviously it's Mechanical Bosses, Plantera, Golem, Cultist, then Moon Lord, but where do the Goblins, Pirates, Frost and Pumpkin Moons, Martian Invasion, and Duke Fishron fit into that?

goblins and pirates are for whenever they decide to attack, they just mix things up a bit.
Fishron is for whenever you can take him on, and it allows you to skip certain parts with it's powerful loot, more like a free pass really.
I'd say the holiday moons go right after golem if you want the loot, or endgame if you aim to complete it.

It's just a shame they're so damned unviable for actually defending your NPCs whatsoever, since shit will just spawn right next to houses and run in and fuck them up. The optimizer inside of me ends up building mansions, commieblocks, or underground towns instead.

Blood zombies/dribblers drop 4-7 blood, used for crafting blood armor, weapons and accessories.
Blood armor: ~8-9 defense, set bonus causes melee attacks to inflict bleeding.
Vial of Blood: 40 blood, 1 glass bottle. Dye or maybe accessory that causes bleeding on causing or receiving damage
Glowing Blood: Vial of Blood + 70 Glowing Mushrooms. Light Item, maybe slightly stronger than Orb of Light, but always stays on your character, as if their skin was glowing.
Smart Cholorphyte Bullets: 70 Chlorophyte bullets + 20 nanites. Traces the first enemy hurt until death, or left click release.
