Not really. Played a few matches and it's a lot of RNG snowball crap. They also said they will have ultimate abilities via cards so if you don't have that card or never draw it during a match you're shit out of luck. And the art style is simply atrocious. What are the chances that they wont release any more heroes? I can't think of any glaringly obvious roles that would be missing from the game. Would the game survive with only getting new maps, gamemodes and skins for the existing characters? Let's assume they're aiming for this game to stick around for a while. How do I play symmetra correctly? I keep reading that she's great but Im horrible at placing the sentries and the weapon feels really wonky. The only thing I've managed is placing smart teleporters but that hardly takes skill.

I had no problems playing her and found her extremely powerfull.
Try to play territorial, so when you're on the run just move to your sentries while running backwards and m1 people (it does huge damage actually). m2 is just good for spamming. Sentry placement is key. The best thing is to place them inwards on archways or door rooms, so enemies have to make a full 180 turn to kill the sentries.

TF2 has all that and maybe even more CC than Overwatch in the form of Sandman, Natascha and shit sending you flying everywhere like Airblast and FaN.
Also in TF2 there is not much area denial except for Engineer, the mid range is the sweet spot for most classes while being utterly useless at long range, even in competitive play the most common strategy is to force short range fights with flankers like Scout or explosive jumpers.
Actually the weakest classes are the slower ones like Heavy and Engineer because they lack the flexibility and the ability to respond quickly to treats. It's a very different game from CS for example and yet it was never considered even close to a moba.

She does fuck all damage with no mobility and 150 health that it's not worth it to try and get the ultimate charged to get your mech back because for that entire time without it you're a non-hero and you're better of actively suiciding to respwn with your mech than wasting time trying to get it trhough your ultimate. Seriously, unless you get lucky you either die trying to charge it and have essentially burdened your team with being without tanking power for both your lifetime out of the mech, your re-spawn and your travel back there, or you DO get your mech but it takes so long it would have been faster and more useful to just suicide and walk back to the frontlines.

To be completely fair, streamers probably provide way more feedback than the random schmuck that would get into closed beta.
They have literally hours of initial impressions and they just say whatever is on their mind. Not only that but everyone watching the stream basically has access to the information that the stream has. If a glitch happens during a random player's game, they might not be able to recreate it or even know what happened. If a glitch happens during a streamer's game, 1000 people just saw it and he has it recorded. A person out of that thousand is likely going to post on the Blizzard forums or the subreddit like has been happening.
