I dont play much anymore. It's not that I'm not interested in the game anymore, I still am, it's just that the state of pubs are so awful that I end up being disappointed in 9/10 matches. This might be ok if the games were quicker but they aren't, each game is at least 30 minutes with an average of 45 plus the time spent finding a match, picking heroes and any amount of pauses (because there's always a fucking pause) so I basically end up wasting nine hours out of every ten I spend on dota. It's just not worth the time so I don't play much anymore.

Though I miss you guys, I think this game has lost its light for me. I had that awful losing streak a few weeks back and then even after it improved I realized I was just never enjoying the game anymore because of the people who play it
Playing online games since the mid 90s, dota has far and away the worst community of anything I've ever experienced, and it's not even close. The Dota 2 community is that bad. It just gets so tired after a while having people rage in literally every single game.
And then stuff like the new compendium, no new heroes, no new jungle camps, taking too long to rebalance heroes that are OP, no zeus arcana, no axe, no desert terrain, etc. etc...
It's plain to see that Valve are giving Dota the absolute minimum investment of time and effort beyond the money-making events, and after a while you have to look at yourself and ask yourself why you care so much when even the company that makes the game doesn't care at all.
I don't even feel like playing Overwatch now. I feel like I'm just tired of the people who play comp multiplayer games, in a general sense.

My concern is, as a player with only 150 hours into game you WILL shit up teamfights no matter what hero, and picking meepo (while it has some good values even for bad players, like training global awareness) only makes it worse on top of everything.
Not to mention you need really good decisionmaking with meepo to reliably win games with splitpushig etc.
If you just want to play some micro heroes then pick visage, ench.
You will just shit up games for both self and alliea with meepo when you dont understand the basics of game yet.

I never understood this new meme of going radiance and manta on alch. It's so much gold wasted and I have no idea why people continue to do it.

The reasoning is that
>Radiance prints gold
>Manta illus carry radiance aura, so you can farm more
>Bots so you can TP to any lane to activate your manta so your illusions can carry the radiance aura so you can farm even more
>Octameme so you can BoTs more often so you can Manta more often so you can send your money-making aura more often into their side of the map
The problem is that the amount of space and coordination it requires for you to play Naga 2.0 isn't something you can very well rely on with pubs, but people often don't find that out until the game is already over, or even worse, wins a few matches then decides to only play that hero that way, surely it's the team's fault and not his, etc
Basically just people trying pro-only builds in pubs is the issue

Because they think Alch is supposed to farm up farming items when the entire point of the hero is that he farms fast with his kit and carries with items (getting big items much earlier than the enemy).
It's redundant to get farming items on one of the best farmers in the game.
If you go items lika manta and radiance you will still melt like butter with your low HP pool and pathetic armor value.
